maddog Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Draw i think, and it's one we can afford now. Although i feel the same as i did 2 seasons ago when we played Wednesday at home, i felt safety was in the bag then, i feel playoffs are in the bag now, surely a repeat of that game and result isn't on the cards again
Trav Le Bleu Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Win 4-0 with a Kermogant hat-trick Massive game.
ScouseFox Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Should be a win, 2 or 3-0. But, if they come for a draw, which i feel they might, we could struggle to break them down, like we have done against Derby, Doncaster, Plymouth (until the 94th minute!) and Peterborough to some extent. All teams we should have beaten well at home, but didn't break down. Nevertheless, i'm confident. 3-0, Howard, Waghorn and Gallagher
AyewJoking Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Watford will come sniffing for a point but we are confident and back on the winning track. 2-0 Leicester.
MC Prussian Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 Draw i think, and it's one we can afford now. Although i feel the same as i did 2 seasons ago when we played Wednesday at home, i felt safety was in the bag then, i feel playoffs are in the bag now, surely a repeat of that game and result isn't on the cards again If we really want to push for one of the four playoff spots, this is not a game that should be thrown away beforehand. A draw wouldn't do much damage... not yet. But we cannot afford let Blackpool/Middlesbrough/Reading catching up with us at this point of the season. In this regard, we can NOT afford to draw with Watford, three points are vital and only then could we start to lean back and prepare for the Playoffs... IF the other results go our way. We got it in our own hands to finish this season as fourth or fifth in the second-best league in England (F*%"st are too high up with 75 points and hardly catch-able) and to end the campaign on a high with a possible visit to the New Wembley in five weeks time.
FoxyPV Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 All the games until we are guaranteed a playoff place are must wins. Cleverley is out for the season (unfortunate for him but good for us) and without him Watford look a bit toothless so I'll go for a 2-0 win - Howard, King (to be original )
OLD norfox Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 You've beaten maddog to the pre-match poll, he'll be fuming! We're going to win and win well. Leicester 4-0 Watford, other results go our way, party time! Maddog will not notice , hi's busy with his playoff - options

lovelcfc Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 I think we will win 1-0 but hanging on howard with goal
bigneville Posted 12 April 2010 Posted 12 April 2010 We don't win 3 on the bounce normally. Draw 2-2 With Leicester rescueing a point against a hard-working Watford.
dpjfox Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 2-0 win , when does Vaughan go back?, its time he and Yann scored, but probably the dependable Howard and King
Fox92 Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Leicester City 3-0 Watford Steve Howard Andy King Martyn Waghorn This might be tough as Watford may not cross the halfway line like Reading but hopefully Watford will come and look to attack. Want to beat them though because of the 3-3 at their place. 2-0 win , when does Vaughan go back?, its time he and Yann scored, but probably the dependable Howard and King Vaughan has extended his loan to the end of the season. He does need to score, but I am sure he assisted King on Saturday with that header.
jonw88 Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 2-0 win , when does Vaughan go back?, its time he and Yann scored, but probably the dependable Howard and King Deal extended till the end of the season: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2022522,00.html
Sylvie85 Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Fancy us 4-0, Brown, Neilson, Mcgivern, Kermogant. And whilst were winning, middlesboro and blackpool lose. Then we can rest easy.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Cant see past a win here, regardless of whether Watford come and sit back for a point or not. Gonna go with 3-0, couple more Waggy goals and Bruno to slot one home
Lillehamring Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 i have a feeling it is going to be one of those city games where we sit a bit too deep, huff and puff without creating any decent chances whilst totally dominating the game, 0-0
Meadow Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 1 - 0 dull game but 3 points non less. One of those your praying for the ref to blow up for full time!
Maybes Posted 14 April 2010 Posted 14 April 2010 Plumping for a draw. Probably going to be a tougher home time than the QPR becuase they came at us whereas I would expect Watford to sit and soak up the pressure and attempt to catch us on the break. <_<

Agreed, it's gonna be a dire game with few chances...i hope we nick it thought 1-0
