FoxyPV Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I remember watching this in Turkey with a bunch of Leeds fans who were giving me grief throughout and then BAM - Stevie sticks it in
Guest nathan. Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 How that person recording kept so calm il never know.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Awesome day Beers on Safron Lane then that goal then Bottle Kicking Best Easter Monday ever!
Corky Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 It was one of those moments you'll never forget. Big game, live on TV, on the verge of promotion and we get a great last-minute winner. Superb stuff.
Jimothy Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Great day. Bloke next to me left about a minute before the goal went in.
AjcW Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I can remember that I was going to come away thinking, this is the best 0-0 I have ever seen... in the end it turned out to be the best 1-0 win I have ever seen .
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Easily my favourite game ever at the Walkers. EPIC scenes when that went in. Good job i wernt on the first few rows, id probz have got arrested ..
ousefox Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I was listening to the game on the worst radio signal ever in the middle of France in our Car. As soon as we scored i remember knee sliding about 3 metres on solid grass- fantastic moment!
Uncle Monty Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Quality game, crowd went nuts when we scored. Loved it.
Guest Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Massive! He's had his critics this season but he's scored some important goals for this club. Super Steve indeed Loved Stockdale running all the way down the pitch to celebrate too.
Craig Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I got knocked down the stairs when we scored Awesome moment.
AmericanScott Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 I remember i had to work instead of going to the game. I kept hitting F5 on the computer in the staff room. When i hit that F5 and it said "GOAL LEICESTER" i ran around like a mad man. I started telling customers about it but they didn't care.
MC Prussian Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Never seen the crowd at the Walkers going so mental than on that particular day. And I was there, too. Right behind Ankergren's goal when Howard scored. Massive.
Tommeh Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Before the goal I was L1. Row LL after the goal I was row HH. And I certainly didn't use the aisles to run/stumble down. Bloody dangerous are seats.
milan_foxes Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Amazing. Got hit by a copper though as we got charged over the barrier into the Leeds scum!
Fosse Boy Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 Awesome day Beers on Safron Lane then that goal then Bottle Kicking Best Easter Monday ever! Bar Medbourne losing. I high fived a steward on the way out of the ground. I must've been delirious with happiness to do that.
Bugg Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 That day was great, the whole crowd going mental when that goal had gone in was brilliant, and to top it off, as we were singing while walking down the road a Leeds fan who obviously had sour grapes goes "You didn't sing at all while you were at the match" The Irony of the fans who only sung "We all love Leeds" for the whole game was hilarious
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 That day was great, the whole crowd going mental when that goal had gone in was brilliant, and to top it off, as we were singing while walking down the road a Leeds fan who obviously had sour grapes goes "You didn't sing at all while you were at the match" The Irony of the fans who only sung "We all love Leeds" for the whole game was hilarious We had a similar thing to that. In the car stuck in traffic we were behind a car full of Leeds fans. A kid about 9/10 went up ot the car and kept singing 'one nil, one nil, one nil!' then something like 'we'll never play you again!', but credit to the Leeds fans they took it on the chin and just smiled!
Corky Posted 13 April 2010 Posted 13 April 2010 My brother threw up several times on the train home, poor kid. Couldn't really enjoy it at the time.
