Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 15 March 2011 Posted 15 March 2011 means light-hearted, possibly sarcastic dig doesn't it? Indeed I can't say I can really get in to NIN but that doesn't mean I don't fully respect them and Mr Reznor. Okay in most cases I'd rather listen to the Cash version but that don't really mean I think it's objectively better. I promise I was only trying to be friendly in all my posts on this thread Ha, that wasn't an attack or anything man! Was only saying that I don't compare the two songs.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 March 2011 Posted 15 March 2011 In fact, just about any Mike Patton Faith No More. The guy is a virtuoso singer!Would love our team to run out to this instead of Hey Dirge.

Adster Posted 16 March 2011 Posted 16 March 2011 The whole of The Courteeners album St. jude gives me goosebumps, the lyrics are so sweet and reflect my feelings half the time.
The Doctor Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 A teammate and I listen to this song before every championship match and every time I hear it, I think of getting pumped up for a big match. good call:
StanSP Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 And good call to you, Al. One of my favourite tracks by Snow Patrol as well as Chasing Cars.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 May 2011 Posted 28 May 2011 One of my fav choooooooonss the way it builds up gives me goosebumps everytime
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 14 August 2011 Posted 14 August 2011 Favourite song of all time. Perfect.
sphericalfox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Right..felt obliged to add a few on here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnycQL6UTow Excellent album btw One of the best mash ups. Give it a full 11! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz4JG5pkpbQ There's a fair few remixes out there, but I like this one. Dubstep may not be your thing(it's not mine) but this did something for me. Was different for me the first time. Now everyone sings this way. A very uplifting song and the guy plays everything himself. I'll stop now as I'll get too carried away and that may be too late already.
sphericalfox Posted 16 August 2011 Posted 16 August 2011 Before I get accused of abusing my video linking this last one truly gave me goosebumps. I was pretty mashed at the time though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OggtDbHuaI
The Doctor Posted 17 August 2011 Posted 17 August 2011 One of the few songs that can easily reduce me to tears.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 18 August 2011 Posted 18 August 2011 Right..felt obliged to add a few on here: One of the best mash ups. Give it a full 11! Very good, two of my all time favourite artists, but Marvin's vocals need to be more to the fore.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 *And you'll have to ignore the lame video for this one, it was the only one I managed to find. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W6VObZk5VnE
Jiggers the Fox Posted 22 August 2011 Posted 22 August 2011 I'd be surprised if these two hadn't been mentioned. Get me every time. [/url] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDfH_J4MAUQ
