Good things about not going to Wembley (and maybe the prem)

Recommended Posts

1.) Not getting stuck in endless Wembley Traffic Jams

2.) Saves me wasting £7+ on a sub standard pie

3.) Trip to Ashton Gate still on for me next season

3.) Midlands Debries ahoy again next season

4.) We can still be classed as underdog's in the FA Cup

5.) The Prem is so last year anyway

6.) We're saved from travelling to Stamford Bridge to become another of Chelsea's 7/8/9-0 victims!

It'll save me a shitload of money... it'll only be spent on beer anyway now.

The only real positive I can find here is that at least we have the world cup to watch rather than just thinking about this all summer.

14.) DJ will be sold

Extortionate Wembley ticket prices

Watching the premier league as a neutral

Possibility of achieving success as opposed to scraping survival

15.) We may be able to sign british players and bring in quality youngsters on loan - rather then looking to eastern european markets, signing players with long names that you can't pronounce

16.) Pearson out threads early next season when we lose a game

17.) Possiblity of televised games on the BBC

18.) Not having games constantly moved to a Sunday due to other teams "eureopean exercisions"

No rise in the cost of matchday tickets

No increase in players' salaries

Our prestigious pre-season friendly will still be against some no-mark bottom of the Premier League side so I won't feel compelled to attend

Having games kick off at 3pm on a saturday rather than every other time possible OTHER than 3pm on a saturday

we can get automatic promotion next year and so have a well earned rest whilst some other mugs have the stress of play offs :giggle:

Not paying extortionate prices for away games.

8 more games

That next years play-off final could be worth an estimated £300m (Think it has risen £10m from the first leg to the second)

Not being at risk of becoming part of something run by complete cvnts, full of complete cvnts and that turns everyone that gets involved in it into a complete cvnt, and that should be dragged to the middle of the Pacific Ocean and sunk in the Marianas Trench.

And on play off final day I'll be able to sort out me bedding plants instead, lovely

Fryatt will still be seen as good

Brown/Howard/Nobby maybe can play for another season

City can get great young talent from decent teams on loan (that'll stop when we get promoted).

We don't have to hear about how we can only score from set pieces (what is this anyway?)
