Narborough_fox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Short memories people. Kaamark came back, arguably better, from a serious injury. So can the Tunch. He's already got the goal and the motivation, surely he just needs the luck!
flanimal Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Kaamark came back, arguably better, from a serious injury Didn't Steve Walsh return from a similar injury as well?
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Get rid of him. Too injury prone, and nothing like the player he was.
Bugg Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Get rid of him. Too injury prone, and nothing like the player he was. Have you seen him play since his injury? My guess is no, so how would you know he is nothing like the player he was?
davieG Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Received this info from a reliable source: Sasho only damaged one knee. It did not work 100% the first time. So he needed a second op, then it got infected.on the 24th of this month he had a full test on his knee and has been pushing his knee in training since. There is no ill effect and Sasho says he feels great. Today he went to Bulgaria to join his wife and child. He has arranged with a club there so he can still do training every day. The first team return for training early July. Sasho will return in the middle of June. So that he can start training early in the hope to be fully ready for the new season.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Would love to see Tunch return fighting fit but I have my doubts after his knee flared up last time he came up. I really hope they don't rush him back because I think he could be a huge part of our defence next season. A back four like this: Morrison-Hobbs-Tunchev-Berner would be among the most solid in the division and have some players who like to play the ball as well, aiding us further up the field.
jonthefox Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Received this info from a reliable source: Hobbs and tunch in front of weale next season then.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Really hope he comes back fine, with him alongside Hobbs we would have a real partnership to be feared. I cant help think though that one more long term injury and thats it for him, he might never recover, but I'm sure it wont come to that. Fingers crossed anyway!
nuttytimmy Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Sounds promising, and he reckons Pearson believes in him too: I have no worries because I talked to the coach and he inspires me with a courage. He said he will rely to me when I recover from the injury. Sod that tw@ Brown.
Edmund Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Received this info from a reliable source: Fantastic news. It will be like a new signing. Morrison-Hobbs-Tunchev-Berner would be among the most solid in the division and have some players who like to play the ball as well, aiding us further up the field. Agreed.
GianEmmo Zola Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 he as strolling round high cross the other day, seemed like he was walking fine. was going to speak to him but he was on the blower!
Ozwin Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Everyone sees him in High Cross. They must not have shopping malls in Bulgaria or something!
Number 6 Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 Hobbs Tunchev would be an awesome pairing. Great news.
MPH Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 WAS quality with a serious injury like he's had and the fact he's basically been out for 18 months he might not be able to play to the same level as before indeed. he WAS quality in the 1st division. Looked woefully short of match fitness and match sharpness in his all too brief appearances. Do people expect him to hit the ground running and get us 20 clean sheets on his own this season or something? I would not be suprised to see him loaned out to a 1st division team for a couple of months to get some games under his belt and get that sharpness back.
orangecity23 Posted 29 May 2010 Posted 29 May 2010 indeed. he WAS quality in the 1st division. Looked woefully short of match fitness and match sharpness in his all too brief appearances. I would not be suprised to see him loaned out to a 1st division team for a couple of months to get some games under his belt and get that sharpness back. He had three appearances last season, and in one of those (Peterborough at home) he didn't give Mackail-Smith and Maclean a sniff. If he is back in full training in time for Pre-Season, then I imagine that playing in the pre season games should be enough to get his sharpness and fitness back. There surely shouldn't be any need to loan him out.
Flynny Posted 30 May 2010 Posted 30 May 2010 Tunchev adds so much not just because he's a good defender, but because he's more than comfortable on the ball. I'd like to see him back even if it's only at 85-90%
lanxfox Posted 30 May 2010 Posted 30 May 2010 If he does come back fully fit and we play the best defence: Morrison Hobbs Tunchev Berner. He will give us that confidence that we get when Bruno comes back from injury, apart from that West Brom game, when he comes back we get that spark and confidence and i believe the same will happen when Tunch comes back, he will give the back line more experience and more quality than it does with just two people who have had a brilliant career (Bruno and Nobby). Anyone agree?
Alexikokopops Posted 31 May 2010 Posted 31 May 2010 Yeah Darren Eadie too, better than ever. And Lee Morris. Came back twice as good if anything.
fox123 Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Saw Tunchev today coming out of the flats just before the holiday in - not sure what they're called, the one's by the river side. Nothing relevant, was good to see him looking in a good mood.

VampLCFC Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Yea I saw him outside the Lacoste shop, he was walking ok
Fox You Forest Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Does anyone know if he's already started training?
Narborough_fox Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Does anyone know if he's already started training? Been jogging since June, now training but non-contact. Contact in August.
AmericanScott Posted 2 July 2010 Posted 2 July 2010 Had mixed reviews from the locals in Bulgaria of him. One said he's complete shit. One said he's Bulgaria's best ever defender. One asked why we don't play Kishishev week in and week out Can't wait for Tunch to come back
