flanimal Posted 21 May 2010 Posted 21 May 2010 there is more chance that well sign bob the builder He's 37. If he went to MLS it means he doesn't care anymore. We don't need some player with no passion mincing around the pitch while he sucks out thousands in Leicester's wages. Doubt he'll be scoring a lot of goals like this from now on:
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 May 2010 Posted 21 May 2010 This is ridiculous. We're going to be linked with every 37 year old free agent going at this rate. Might solve the problems down the wing, versatile, could play either side... I'll shut up right there.
Tuna Posted 21 May 2010 Posted 21 May 2010 I've seen 8 or 9 posts on page 1 who have taken this seriously. There are some stupid/gullible people on these boards.
Unit Posted 21 May 2010 Posted 21 May 2010 Love it, half a second on google proves the wind up - half a second I say, I had to play pacman on the frontscreen! - the only 'Leicester pires' match that comes up is a report from Leicester uni Perhaps this is because we expect our sports stars simply to snigger in the corner and to have nothing serious to say about anything, beyond discussions about their fitness, wealth and style? The Frenchman Arsenal's Robert Pires has challenged all this. He had the temerity, publicly, to question the war and its aims, even suggesting at one point that he might even refuse to play football as a gesture of protest. This issue, he argued, was something more important than sport.
Fosse Boy Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 WOW WOW WOW. Regardless of the wage cost, and the fact he may be past it and shit who cares, Robert Pires for LCFC, a player who used to grace my fantasy football team alongside Henry. A massive player for them in their invincibles season. What a signing he would be. By that logic signing Maradona or Cruyff in their present states would also be great signings.

DJ Barry Hammond Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 We have a winner... I can't actually believe the intelligence levels of this board sometimes. Lets be fair, with our Chairman almost anything is possible so can you blame people for taking this seriously? If we do sign him though, do we get the other three muskahounds as well or do we have to sign them seperately?
nothin2seehere Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Brilliant if we get him. I remember his brilliant penalty http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIGmjt0cHOQ&NR=1 Better than Kermorgant hahaha, love it! Master of deceit...

We don't need some player with no passion mincing around the pitch while he sucks out thousands in Leicester's wages. Doubt he'll be scoring a lot of goals like this from now on: he could of gone to the MLS as a designated players and been getting almost £90k a week
Dom_Harborough Fox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 By that logic signing Maradona or Cruyff in their present states would also be great signings. might as well dig up Bobby Moore while we're at it
MC Prussian Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Whenever I think football has become more reasonable, threads on players like Pires always bring me back down to Earth.
i luv u foxes Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 what would be the point really blowing how much money on a hasbeen great player how many years ago if he signed on a pay as u play contract fine beside the point it aint gonna happen anyway
The Doctor Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 might as well dig up Bobby Moore while we're at it he'd still distribute the ball better than brown
Salieri Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Surely this is joke? Of course not. If the thread starter (by no means a wind up merchant) says he heard the news on Radio Leicester (when nobody else did) then it's pretty much nailed on for me.
