Walshy5 Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Cant see him getting many games for west brom next season. Anyone think he,d be worth a shout?
Edmund Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 I doubt we'd be able to afford him. 25% pay increase on promotion
Guest Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Wonder if this thread will have the legs of the last Simon Cox saga?
RowlattsFox Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Does this need its own thread? Could have gone in the shopping list thread. Keep reading these thread titles thinking theres some sort of link but there never is. But anyway, I'd take him but don't see it happening, even if he was available I don't see Pearson goig back in for him after last summer.
Jimmy Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 he turned us down already I'd rather get someone like Nugent from Pompey or Geovanni from Hull as a creative midfielder

flanimal Posted 22 May 2010 Posted 22 May 2010 Simon Cox is a glory hunter. When he signed for West Brom he compared himself to Teddy Sheringham and went on about how he wanted to "achieve greatness". With West Brom in the Premier League now, he'll be more than happy to keep the bench warm.

If we could have given him the same money as West Brom, or more, I think he would still have gone to West Brom. It doesn't matter, he'll never sign for Leicester now anyway.

It doesn't matter, he'll never sign for Leicester now anyway. We had first contact. If the deal was right, he'd have signed before West Brom's interest (who for a section of the summer had no manager). Anyway, that ol'saga is over. Thankfully I missed the whole thing whilst on holiday and only info I got about us was that we were interested in Keogh and Wellens had signed.
foxfanazer Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 He didn't want to come here the first time, bugger him. Yeah fook him, had his chance with us. What about Gary Hooper anyone? Or Nicky Maynard?
Unit Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 Poor git probably wishes he'd stayed at swindon now, playoff finals and all sorts as opposed to picking out them splinters from his arse.
MPH Posted 23 May 2010 Posted 23 May 2010 i could imagine the situation happening where West Brom offer cash and cox for Fryatt...
Fox You Forest Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 i could imagine the situation happening where West Brom offer cash and cox for Fryatt... Then you have a very vivid imagination, it's never going to happen.

Salieri Posted 24 May 2010 Posted 24 May 2010 Why is this fool even being discussed? It was bad enough last season, but at least then there was a point to it in that he did actually have talks with us.
