tylesta Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 "If the right kind of club expresses an interest, I have no problem going over and doing a pre-season so they can have a closer look at me," said Pires. why not makes it better if he aint got it it wont cost us
tylesta Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Stringer's Twitter : Robert Pires WILL NOT be joining Leicester City, contrary to reports in the local press. Spoke to 1 of his closest friends+biography writer fook me stringer gets about
Fox You Forest Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 a few words sir les, teddy sheringham ryan giggs and NOLERTO SALANO! im sure he could do a job just because he is 36 don't mean crap, the players i have said all did a job and giggs is still doing a job at manu, sign him up imo (he and yann can discuss there penalty misses) wealth of experience to add to our young squad, wasnt nobby to old at point last season? Yeah a few too many by the looks of it. For a start I never said he was too old, so you can keep all your examples, I'm going off what I've seen of him in the last few seasons, not his past glories at Arsenal, I have a feeling some people can't seperate the two. Dan's reasons a few posts above are more than enough, and If we're to believe Stringer it's not happening anyway thankfully.

I'll believe that for now rather than a 2nd hand bit of information from Ian Stringer. COME ON CITEH, SIGN THE BOBBEH!!!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Least we could have someone who wins us lots of penalties, by diving.
teblin Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Heard his biographer on radio Leicester says pires doesn't want to return to England.
tylesta Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Two seasons left in his legs? I think he's got a bit mixed up.. Surely he means his legs went two years ago. No thanks. whats this comment mean then?? he is to young??? whats this comment mean then?? he is to young??? in my eyes you are saying he is to old here
Bugg Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 whats this comment mean then?? he is to young??? in my eyes you are saying he is to old here Quoting what you just said and trying to argue with it !
tylesta Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Quoting what you just said and trying to argue with it ! due to the fact i don't post here much, what im trying to say is i wouldnt say no to a world cup winner joining us. at the age of 36 the experience he could pass on would be great. if he comes he comes he don't he don't. let's just keep loaning players...
Fox You Forest Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 whats this comment mean then?? he is to young??? in my eyes you are saying he is to old here What I'm saying is I don't think he has the legs for a demanding season in the Championship and you're never too old for a shift in the USA or Qatar... Not that it matter now anyway.
maddog Posted 16 June 2010 Posted 16 June 2010 Would prefer Pires here on high wages than Dj. If he's prepared to go on a trail then why not, Nobby Solano worked a treat last season, he's got another 6 month deal, so 6 months for Pires can't hurt. Trail him, if he's decent 6 month deal. No transfer fee, pay him as low as he is prepared to go, perhaps more based on appearences, did United so something similar with Owen We could do with another midfielder anyway. He can't be any worse than Oakley.
poopbutt Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 i just spoke to his dad, contrary to the claims of his biographer, he does want to come
Brainy Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 We could do with another midfielder anyway. He can't be any worse than Oakley. moron. if we were to get a midfielder then i'd prefer us to get somebody younger instead of replacing somebody who's legs have gone with somebody who's legs have gone.
Toby or not Toby Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Sky Sports News are saying Pires has said that Birmingham want to sign him in The Sun apparently.
davieG Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 Sky Sports News are saying Pires has said that Birmingham want to sign him in The Sun apparently. Let's hope for their sakes we have a mild winter then
Callabinho Posted 17 June 2010 Posted 17 June 2010 There has been no contact between Pires and Leicester App, would be funny though soon on paper our team will look Like the Classic Legends team off FIFA !
