Perhaps the club(s) interested were there watch him, perhaps they insisted he continues with his fitness preparations Besides I doubt whether it's been fully agreed, these things take time and re never certain until the deal is signed.

Well if he is going there the day after that seems unlikely. I just can't understand why Sousa would take him, give him decent playing time in all the friendlies, and supposedly give him freekick duties only to decide get rid of him and then play him in another friendly...

Going there for discussions, then there's the money to sort out who pays what proportion of his wages, anything could happen to scupper it and if that happened we'd want him to be fit and ready to play, doesn't mean the intention to move on isn't there.

Well compared to Kermorgant he did. And Waghorn tried and tried and tried, ran himself into the ground. If Waghorn had a bad game, it was never due to lack of effort. Kermorgant had several bad games, games where he was often anonymous.

If Kermorgant had taken the penalty properly (picked a corner and gone for it) but had still missed we wouldn't be on his back as much, it's just the mannor in which he took it, and the arrogance, Howard, King and Hobbs came over and clapped the city fans afterwards if I rememer rightly and Waghorn looked like the most dejected man on the planet at that moment, that's why we want him back, he has proved he has passion, a good scoring ability at this level and a very bright future.

Not saying you're wrong and he could be signing for whoever at this moment, but i severely doubt he would play 45 mins of a game the day before he is meant to sign for a club. 45 mins isn't going to improve your fitness anymore than a training session.

New Foxes boss Paulo Sousa is willing to let Kermorgant move on as he does not figure in his long-term plans.
