Joe. Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Pompey’s npower Championship clash with Leicester City at Fratton Park has been switched to Friday, September 24 with a 7.45pm kick-off. The game, which sees the return of former Pompey chairman Milan Mandaric to Fratton Park, will be shown live on Sky. The match was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 25. Nobjockeys. I'll be back at uni then, was desperate for this to be a Saturday. Train back will be pretty much impossible now.
Bugg Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 ****s sake Sky! I don't think I'll be able to go to this now
Fox You Forest Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Probably stay down there for the night now, would have preferred not to though.
CosbehFox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Typical Sky...choose two of the distance-longest away days for Leicester as tv matches and stick them on at difficult times for public transport. Thankfully, they are days where folk can either stay over or come back home late.....but it's at an extra expense.
Fox92 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 They don't care about the fans at all do they. Reading, Swansea and now this.
Matt Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 They don't care about the fans at all do they. Reading, Swansea and now this. And Derby (Not due to Sky but KO time still been changed). 4 games had KO's ****ed about with and the seasons not even started yet.
Koke Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I wonder if all the football league fans who constantly complain about Sky are actually subscribed to Sky? I bet majority are.
Tommeh Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Well thats me out. Cvnts. I wonder if all the football league fans who constantly complain about Sky are actually subscribed to Sky? I bet majority are. No I'm not.
C-man Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Meh, the fixture list had already put me out of this one so from a selfish point of view, I'm quite happy for it to be on Sky. Feel for those who are still gonna do it, or were planning to.
CosbehFox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 I wonder if all the football league fans who constantly complain about Sky are actually subscribed to Sky? I bet majority are. Majority I agree. Personally I don't and get alot of stick off mates and my family for refusing to do so. One of those chipped boxes will do the job and rip Murdoch off plus I'd get Bundesliga from that.
DB11 Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 For as many that aren't happy at the kick off changes, there'll be an equal amount who are though.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Pissed off with this oh well, on the bright side i can go to the EDL march in Leicester on the saturday now!
Maybes Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Reet pissed off with this. I actually hate Sky TV. Was planning on having a weekend down their, obviously wont happen now.
Dan Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 For as many that aren't happy at the kick off changes, there'll be an equal amount who are though. Aye, it looks very 50-50 in this thread. I'll still go but pissed off.
Bugg Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Pissed off with this oh well, on the bright side i can go to the EDL march in Leicester on the saturday now!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Any outside chance of me going to this is gone now, but then it was an outside chance so it means I can watch it still. Not too pissed off about Swansea as I doubt I would have gone there.
1964FOX Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Had already booked a hotel for this so just had to changedates and it cost me extra and my missus will have to have a day off work to go but obviously sky are far more important than the fans being put out so will just have to put up with it. I.m not bitter at all THE C**TS.....
Fosse Boy Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 They don't care about the fans at all do they. Reading, Swansea and now this. Understatement of the century. Livid with this decision. Still gonna do my utmost to get down there though. FUCK OFF SKY YOU ABSOLUTE BUNCH OF RUBES.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 This actually makes it easier for me to get there. THANKS SKY
Ozwin Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 So is it safe to say there'll be no return trains that night then?
Tommeh Posted 30 June 2010 Posted 30 June 2010 Just found out I have accomodation for this. Now need a way of getting down there. whatever happens though it's ruined a certain sell out possibly in the sun with many for the weekend is gone and we'll do well to take more than 1-1.5k and most of them will be Londoners. Thanks again Rupert.
