lcfc"weasel" Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Bit annoyed with that, doubt train there is going to be possible now, bloody sky w@nkers.
davieG Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 From Ipswich OS Town's match against Leicester at Portman Road on December 18 will now be shown live on Sky. The kick-off time has been switched to 5.20pm, with Roy Keane's side now live in front of the cameras twice in the month - Blues' home game with Swansea on December 4 is being covered by Sky with kick-off at 12.45pm. Former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson is now in charge at Leicester having replaced Paulo Sousa this week. It will be the second successive meeting between the clubs that is shown live on TV. Town's 1-1 draw at the Walkers Stadium in January was beamed around the nation by Sky. Not sure if it's on Sky two other sites say the BBC and having looked at the Sky schedule it's not listed there.
Corky Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 No problem for me, but I hope others can still make it.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Good game to put on from my point of view, especially at their prices.
syston_fox Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Meh. Was boycotting anyway with Switch's pricing. See now you say you're boycotting but I dont recall seeing you at an away game yet this season.... pardon my ignorance if you have been to a few and I just havent seen you but surely in order to boycott you have to have been actually attending games in the first place...
Dan Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 We'll get another 5/6 moved for Sky IMO, at least. Still going to this, one of three in the league I ain't been, not paying fvcking £31 though, U16's or no attendance from me.
RizLCFC Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Correct me if i'm wrong but is this game live on both the BBC and sky? http://www.greenun24.co.uk/ipswich-town/foxes_clash_screened_by_bbc_1_675288 http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~2177881,00.html Sorry if this thread has been repeated.
Matt Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Brilliant news for me, I fly to Australia that night, so can watch the game at home (or maybe the Airport - Sure they'll have a bar/pub with Sky on ) then fly.
Cobbo Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 http://www.ipswich.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=216166 Who knows..
Jackirius Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 Its on sky im pretty sure, should be going to it though so wont really matter for me. But i can remember seeing it advertised on sky at the start of the season.
Fox You Forest Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 The BBC show their live games on a Sunday don't they?
StanSP Posted 7 October 2010 Posted 7 October 2010 The BBC show their live games on a Sunday don't they? Nah they've done Saturday evenings before
Alexikokopops Posted 8 October 2010 Posted 8 October 2010 See now you say you're boycotting but I dont recall seeing you at an away game yet this season.... pardon my ignorance if you have been to a few and I just havent seen you but surely in order to boycott you have to have been actually attending games in the first place... I've been boycotting every away game this season apart from Portsmouth away in the cup
davieG Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 Derby away moved from 1.00pm to 5.20pm http://www.dcfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10270~2235610,00.html?
Corky Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 Strange that it's been moved back further after originally being changed on police advice.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 December 2010 Posted 2 December 2010 Really annoyed by this, expect I wont go now. Also, Ipswich away is definitely on Sky not BBC, it is on the schedule on Skysports.com.
1964FOX Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Strange that it's been moved back further after originally being changed on police advice. The clubs will listen to police advice quite rightly as the potential for trouble increases the longer each set of fans are allowed to drink, that has been proven by past history and is the sensible approach to take when local derbies are being played. However the club gets a lot of money from the god of football 'Sky Sports' and all sense goes out the window, who cares about a few fans fighting if the club makes money. Modern football is so wonderful.
