Simo86 Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Colace sticks with Tykes Colace has signed a new contract at Barnsley according to Sky Sports News
philayres200 Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Colace has signed a new contract at Barnsley according to Sky Sports News If that is true, hopefully it means that Paulo has better things in mind. On the face of it Colace could have improved our squad without too much outlay. If Paulo had wanted him, he would have got him, so maybe there are better players to come ( Keeping everything crossed of course ).
Pratlinho Posted 20 July 2010 Posted 20 July 2010 Would Brendan Rodgers be able to inspire you to stay? In reply to the Swan above, that's hardly a new thing in football. Often it's the fear of allowing a want away player to go on a free that prompts a club to sell up. No doubt. Problem is our board have been deeply stupid in our handling of the situation. Should have got him to sign an extended contract six months ago. Instead they're only getting round to it now. Could cost us in the long run.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 I don't remember anyone mentioning it, but a day or so after the Mercury ran the big story about us being linked with Colace, tucked away in a corner of another City story on the back page it said Sousa's interest in Colace was cooling anyway, and that was a while ago now
foxoffderby Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Very dissapointed I think hes a top player, and would of been a quality signining.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Surprised he stayed at Barnsley, but then he must have his reasons.
Bettsj2 Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 Surprised he stayed at Barnsley, but then he must have his reasons. We're not going to sign any of these 3 are we?
s11nny Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 We're not going to sign any of these 3 are we? I highly doubt it. rule out colace as he signed a new contract, rule out pratley as hes too expensive, and im sure news about us getting simpson was when NP was in charge so we can forget him aswell
Narborough_fox Posted 21 July 2010 Posted 21 July 2010 No Simpson was told to find a new club and we have a slender chance with Pratley, Sousa given somewhat of a transfer budget so only rule Colace out.
milan_foxes Posted 21 July 2010 Author Posted 21 July 2010 Didnt Jay Simpson get a brace against Barnet the other day for Arsenal, playing alongside Arshavin, Walcott etc etc.
milan_foxes Posted 23 July 2010 Author Posted 23 July 2010 Simpson's about to leave Arsenal apparently... http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Arsenal-starlet-Jay-Simpson-to-quit-club-after-summer-tour-snub-article533147.html QPR, Leeds, Hull and Leicester intrested. Dont think he'll come here.
haraven Posted 23 July 2010 Posted 23 July 2010 Who'd go to Leeds/QPR/Dull over Leicester? NP and Shakey
Narborough_fox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 And Kisnorbo. (Yes I know he was released but he still chose to go to Leeds)
Narborough_fox Posted 12 August 2010 Posted 12 August 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/swansea_city/8798896.stm Probably nothing.
artursteppe Posted 13 August 2010 Posted 13 August 2010 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/teams/s/swansea_city/8798896.stm Probably nothing. Seems pretty obvious that the Swansea Chairman would let Pratley go if he got the right offer. Offered him the same pay structure as Forest would pay him, but no new contract negotiations - he wants to sell.
LCFCJOHNO Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 I would love to see Pratley play for city I honestly feel he would be fantastic player for us! How much doyou think he will cost?
Leicester_Loyal Posted 16 August 2010 Posted 16 August 2010 You could probably get him for around 1-1.5million.
