MC Prussian Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Young Boys won 4-2 against Odense, but Shen will probably agree, OBK are in shambles right now. Lost their last league game 5-0, so I wouldn't read too much into this Europa League win. Still, a couple of great goals from the "Bees". Lausanne stunned Prague by getting the lead early on, they have now conceded an equalizer. Allez Lausanne!!!

They've been building momentum the last few years and are the only real challenger to FC Copenhagen in the domestic league, but Djemba-Djemba has never really recovered since his injury last season, and Utaka who was on fire last season has gone completely off the boil. On top of that the defense has been shambolic all season, so it's all unravelling for them. Good win for YBB, the Swiss teams are doing extraordinarily well this season in Europe!!
Asha Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Lech have been awesome - don't deserve to be 2-0 down at all. Pretty confident they can still get a draw though, Rudnevs needs to come on. Joel's not really proving an effective alternative.

Asha Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Joel's not really proving an effective alternative. Made amends. Still time for Rudnevs to come on though.
StanSP Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Graham Taylor is off his rocker. Not only do I think he sounds like David Pleat, he's also as annoying as him. Both complete pricks. Lech Poznan fans are brilliant. Making hell of a lot of noise.
MC Prussian Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 What a comeback by Lausanne!!! 3-1 down at half-time, brushed aside by a rampant Sparta Prague side. Then the Czechs lose it in the second, Steuble scores a cracking mid-range goal and in the 96th minute, Silvio manages to literally squeeze in the equalizer... Fantastique!!! Highlights? Here!!!
Corky Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Adam Johnson is a joy to watch at times, loves the way he glides past players.
lcfc_jme Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Lech fans - awesome as was to be expected, really. Nothing more to add, apart from I still think Adebayor is a cvnt.
MC Prussian Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Finally on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azNHb12wUD4 What Lausanne have accomplished is remarkable. Regardless whether they finish last or second in their group (which is still possible), they've done Swiss football and themselves very, very proud. Stories like this one, with so-called "minnows" giving the "big ones" a scare or two (or even three) are what make football so fascinating. (Hopefully, I can make it down to the Pontaise for the game against Palermo in December or even as early as the Sparta Prague rematch)
MC Prussian Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 The dream continues - Young Boys facing Odense away tonight and Lausanne-Sport welcome Sparta Prague to the Pontaise. Still undecided whether I should make it down there... Hmm... Hmm... Talking about killing myself softly. The other matchups: AA Gent v Sporting, GpC, 18:00 BATE Borisov v FC Sheriff Tiraspol, GpE, 18:00 Bayer Leverkusen v Aris Salonika, GpB, 18:00 CSKA Moscow v Palermo, GpF, 18:00 Club Bruges v Dinamo Zagreb, GpD, 18:00 Dynamo Kiev v AZ Alkmaar, GpE, 18:00 Juventus v Red Bull Salzburg, GpA, 18:00 Lech Poznan v Man City, GpA, 18:00 Levski Sofia v Lille, GpC, 18:00 PAOK Salonika v Villarreal, GpD, 18:00 Rosenborg v Atletico Madrid, GpB, 18:00 AEK Athens v Anderlecht, GpG, 20:05 FC Porto v Besiktas, GpL, 20:05 Getafe v VfB Stuttgart, GpH, 20:05 Hajduk Split v Zenit St Petersburg, GpG, 20:05 Liverpool v Napoli, GpK, 20:05 PSV Eindhoven v Debrecen, GpI, 20:05 Paris SG v Borussia Dortmund, GpJ, 20:05 Rapid Vienna v CSKA Sofia, GpL, 20:05 Sampdoria v FC Metalist Kharkiv , GpI, 20:05 Sevilla v Karpaty Lviv, GpJ, 20:05 Steaua Bucharest v FC Utrecht, GpK, 20:05
CosbehFox Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Good double header on ITV 4. Man City have Lech in their freshly finished 40,000 stadium. Pictures looked pretty mind blowing from Sundays game against Wisla. Paris SG - Borussia Dortmund is on at 8 too.
Asha Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Should be a cracking game, this. Really believe Lech can take the game to Man City and get a result. Bakero's first game in charge so not really sure what to expect, but at the Stadion Miejski with the backing 40,000 odd passionate fans - anything can happen.

You're such a twat, but anyway....Bakero did a damn good job at Polonia before the dick of a chairman popped up. Lech will fly up the table now I imagine. They'll still lose tonight though.
Asha Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 You're such a twat Not sure what has provoked that response, but okay.
Asha Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Absolutely netted it. Injac you beauty. Knew they could take the game to City
MC Prussian Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Ah, Lausanne... 1-0 up in the first half, extra time of one minute signaled and you concede such a cheap equalizer... Allez les Blancs! Tonight is the night you could move past Prague up to third in the table (should Palermo still hold on to that lead against CSKA Moscow).
ScouseFox Posted 4 November 2010 Posted 4 November 2010 Great goal, City on their way to losing 3 in a row.
