ousefox Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 How he can pick Oakley before King is beyond me. Bye DEEEJ
sdb Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 maybe he see's King as a game changer?? I've got a bad feeling about this 1. COME ON LEICESTER!!!
jonthefox Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 we need this one badly. Hopefully the leeds game kickstarted the season.
ozleicester Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Im guessing that sousa is going to use King as a match winner if needed, the guys had a few games the last week -10 days, so perhaps easing him in IF needed, rather than burn him out too early. Just a thought
Madrid_Fox Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 I will make this clear, im not an Oakley hater. But, I cannot understand how he is starting above King. Also Im suprised in DNG's inclusion. I think he has been poor so far (except the second half v Leeds). I would have done it like this. Logan Neilson Hobbs Morrison Berner (Captain) Moreno King Wellens Gallagher Dyer Howard Subs: Ikeme Lamey Oakley DNG Fryatt Moussa

Just a thought If this is Sousa's thought-process, then it's ridiculous. For a start, King played only 45 minutes on Tuesday so should be fine for today. Second, to have him on the bench, implies that he's there for if we're losing (as against Leeds). I can understand that in the cup, but this is a league game we need to win, so you put out your strongest team. The league is starting to develop and if we lose today, we are firmly at the bottom, well off the pace of the promotion chasing teams. Today is far more important than Tuesday at Leeds.

sbfox Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Before we all lose our heads and jump off the nearest cliff, maybe, just maybe, Kingy has a knock? Maybe Sousa is thinking about how long the season is and not wanting to burn a young lad out? Oakley has started the season fairly well too - outshone King against Boro - so let's not be too suicidal!
nuttytimmy Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Oakley over King is a very strange one. Only thinking can be that Paulo doesn't want to drop his skipper. Stringer has just said that Abe isn't playing as he's not played the required number of internationals to qualify for a UK work permit. He should get it, even if it's on appeal, within the next 2-3 weeks at the longest. In the meantime, he's essentially signed and will train with the squad.
Hitesh Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Who the hell is Kennedy? Tom Kennedy, we signed him on a free before NP left.

Oakley has started the season fairly well too - outshone King against Boro - so let's not be too suicidal! Lets remember this time last week we were breathing sighs of relief that Matty Fryatt had picked upa knock and was not Hull City bound. Its perfectly possible that King has picked up a knock or that this team is part of some genius strategm.
Babylon Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 How about we wait until we see the result before throwing ourselves off a cliff over King not playing.
Leicester_Mad Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Sousa making a mark by picking his own players, Lamey and Moreno. The Thai owner on the pitch has the takeover been successful or not?!
sbfox Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Jesus, from the telly, it looks like Reading have brought about 25 fans...
nuttytimmy Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 As an aside, today is possibly the lowest ever league attendance at the Walkers. Which is ironic really, as I can't watch it down the pub because of the Man Utd game, and the Trashyard will still be full!
Ashley Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 I don't know if its been said but the Fosse Boys have been refused access to the ground this is at the turnstiles. Its fooking disgraceful. Sorry for my language but it is.
breadandcheese Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 The stadium looks very empty on telly. There goes the stadium expansion plans.

Sorry for my language but it is. That is terrible! I know I was critical of how they were operating on the other thread, but that's a joke...

Sorry for my language but it is. On what grounds? Surely they can't just deny them unless they've got like a written ban or summing?
wurmer Posted 28 August 2010 Posted 28 August 2010 Sousa making a mark by picking his own players, Lamey and Moreno. The Thai owner on the pitch has the takeover been successful or not?! Business-wise yes. League not yet
