Walshy5 Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 People might say we,ve got enough but I think we need a CB with experiance in this league to partner Jack Hobbs and not one of these fancy foreigners. A Wayne Brown figure preferably with better distribution

Walshy5 Posted 29 August 2010 Author Posted 29 August 2010 Play Morrison. Personally i dont rate morrison as a CB at this level. Id want to see him RB
SirBlueFoxington Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Definitely. At them minute we only have 1 fully fit centre back in Hobbs. Moreno isn't a centre back and i would say Morrison is more of a right back than he is centre back.
Mikey Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Personally i dont rate morrison as a CB at this level. Id want to see him RB Him and Hobbs looked great as a CB pairing v Leeds.
Yojoe36 Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Midfield is our problem, too many to pick from, non are even that good, Oakley and Wellens, their pathetic
FrankieADZ Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 play Morrison in there until Tunchev gets fit, Hopefully once we get Tunchev back we might be a bit more stable at the back.
Lisburn Fox Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Can't include Tunchev as he is not fit, this takes him out of the equation so YES we need another Centre Back.
Corky Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Morrison for me. Let him and Hobbs build a partnership.
Thracian Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 We need a resilient centre-back with strength, anticipation, focus, pace and class. At the moment all our choices seem to be missing about half of those vital requirements. Indeed I sometimes wonder who chooses our personnel and how we actually analyse players before deciding they are the ones for us. Because in some cases, it doesn't seem like we watch them at all or, if we do, that we somehow naively believe their limitaions will disappear.
Salieri Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Morrison for me. Let him and Hobbs build a partnership. This. Probably be a while yet until Tunchev is back (if ever ). We still have Vitor, how long until he returns? In the meantime, it's gotta be Morrison in, Moreno into midfield or onto the bench. Can't believe so many people are writing Morro off on the basis of a couple of dodgy performances. He's come a long way with us, and in the main has been solid.
stix Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Morrison for me. Let him and Hobbs build a partnership. +1. I just dont think moreno is a very good player. Not at CB not at DM or CM i dont think his distribution is good at all.
Leicester Rule! Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Him and Hobbs looked great as a CB pairing v Leeds. Didn't do bad, but not great. Morrison's not got the best distribution which doesn't help.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Midfield is our problem, too many to pick from, non are even that good, Oakley and Wellens, their pathetic Im sure you wern't complaining when Wellens got the equlizer v Leeds. You haven't got a clue, if you knew about football you'd know that Wellens does all the sweeping up and is very instrumental, one of our best players. Thicko.
J.Lisemore Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Morrison is the solution at the minute. Although i think we would need another natural centre back. God, i miss Tunchev.
The Doctor Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 i think i've said it in another thread but neilson at cb (very no-nonsense, doesn't try to play his way out) and morrison at rb untill the tunch/vitor are fit
Simmo86 Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Central midfield is our problem, we have no one able to create. Wellens is ok to put himself about but his final ball is shocking. Oakley is even worth talking about! Utter shite! Kingy is brilliant, but his strength is being able to get into the box and find good positions. Hopefully Yuki will be able to provide some much needed spark for us but he is going to need time to settle and im not convinced about Moreno!
ibbosuk Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 play Morrison in there until Tunchev gets fit, Hopefully once we get Tunchev back we might be a bit more stable at the back. I agree moreno is just not strong enough on the ground or in the air, if Tunchev breaks down again we need to buy in the Jan sales, I still hope we can make 2 or 3 quality signings before Tuesday's deadline, but not optimistic about any.
lcfcsnow Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 We do so long as he is left footed, Hobbs just isn't the same player on the left side of defence, but has looked more comfortable in the last 2 games. Tunchev and Brown are both left footed and that allowed Hobbs to play in his preferred position when playing with either.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 August 2010 Posted 29 August 2010 Dont need a new CB. Just dont have Moreno playing there! He isnt a CB. We do need Tunch back though.
