mmarkie Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Just said on Sky that QPR and Leicester have enquired about the availability of John Utaka.
Fox 4 Life Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 that was hilarious, some people aren't at work today then!
Ford Super Sunday Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Man earns a reported £80k a week at Portsmouth.... I hope they pay a portion of his wages.
ACF Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I would love this. My Nigerian beast in the World Cup on FM
Ric Flair Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Is he actually any good? I've always thought he flatters to deceive, ala N'Guessan.
Jimothy Posted 31 August 2010 Author Posted 31 August 2010 that was hilarious, some people aren't at work today then! No, get an extra day this bank holiday. And what a way to enjoy this beautiful weather by sitting watching SSN all day.....
FrankieADZ Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 he could do a good job for us, but he can get a stepping if he think City will pay anything near what he's on or was on at Pompey.
HonradaRaposa Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Is he actually any good? I've always thought he flatters to deceive, ala N'Guessan. I always got the impression he was like Akinbiyi's shit cousin.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I really hope we don't end up with this useless lump. I recall some glaring misses in the pem last season.
MattyFromLE Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I always got the impression he was like Akinbiyi's shit cousin. God help us.
Jimbo Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 that was hilarious, some people aren't at work today then! I was going to post it, but noticed I'd already been beaten to it I'm at work, have sky sports news on the pc at work, good old sky player, got my work mates on the look out for the boss!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Fairly good player, is he worth the money though.
bigneville Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Isn't interested at Portsmouth. If he sorts his attitude out, he will tear this division apart. Would be awesome if we could get Portsmouth to pay his wages.
Fosse Boy Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Pompey lad I know says he's not interested at this level, acting like he's too big to play in this division and playing like a nonce. Can't really be doing with players like that if that's his assessment.
Greg2607 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 gone to QPR according to Radio 5................
ACF Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Stringer says he is unaware of interest from Leicester. But it is Stringer.
themotivator Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Bangs 'em in every season in prem.... on FM (08). not real life. can't see this happening really.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 Now on SSN website http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12876_6350200,00.html Leicester and QPR have made enquiries over Portsmouth striker John Utaka, Sky Sports sources understand. The Nigerian international is thought to be set to leave the cash-strapped South Coast club due to Pompey being unable to afford his lucrative contract. Utaka moved to Pompey in 2007 from Rennes for £7million, but has failed to live up to his price tag and has often been a bit-part player. The 28-year-old is in the final year of his contract, and with wages of a reported £80,000 a week, manager Steve Cotterill is likely to be willing to cash in on the player to ease the club's wage bill. Utaka has scored just seven goals in 66 games in his time at Fratton Park and it is unclear whether he will be leaving on loan or on a permanent basis.
