Ikeme - 7 - Wasn't called into doing much/anything.

Neilson - 8.5 - Cracking game from him, got up well when needed but was still solid at the back.

Morrison - 6.5 - Looked shakey, got better later on though.

Hobbs - 7- Didn't see him do to much to be fair.

Berner - 5 - Shocker from Bruno, how he didn't get booked through that I wont know. Didn't have a clue what he was doing most of the time.

Waghorn - 7.5 - Tried his best but some of his stuff just didn't come off today.

King - 8.5 - Another sold performance from King, his 'Messi Chip' was a corker!

Oakley - 6 - Very quiet compared to his last few games.

Wellens - 8 - Chucked himself around very well and knocked the ball round comfortably.

Dyer - 9 - Best player on the pitch today. Everytime he got the ball he caused Coventry discomfort. Deserved to score. MOTM.

Fryatt - 7 - Worked hard, but wasn't involved enough.

SUBS;

Howard - 8 - Chased things down well, should of bagged one near the end, but N'Guessan didn't pass the ****er!

Gallagher - 8 - Superb through ball for King for his goal.

N'Guessan - 6 - Had two golden opportunities to score; one he hit straight at the keeper and the second he should of layed it to Howard but instead decided just to fanny around with it.

Very unlucky today to not of taken 3 points. :(

Ikeme - 7 - Had nothing to do at all. Wasn't tested at all.

Neilson - 7 - Looked a decent player when he was decisive and moved the ball on quickly. This doesn't happen enough though.

Hobbs - 7 - Distributed well. Struggled aerially against Clive Platt, but solid.

Morrison - 7 - Didn't look very comfortable in possesion at time, but did his defensive job well. Massive improvement on Moreno.

Berner - 6 - Doesn't quite look himself.

Wellens - 8 - Ran the show in midfield for us again. The intelligent midfield was at the heart of everything good we did today.

Oakley - 8 - Kept it simple and worked hard. Best Oakley performance i've seen in a while.

King - 8 - Very good king performance, got beyond the strikers well, and a wonderful finish for the goal.

Dyer - 8 - Looked dangerous when we got the ball to him in space. A constant threat for the first 60 minutes.

Waghorn - 6 - Was trying too hard to impress, could have done better with the ball in certain situations.

Fryatt - 5 - Passed when he should have shot, and shot when he should have passed. Wasn't his day today

Subs

Gallacher - 7 - Positive contribution, vital pass involved in the goal.

N'Guessan - 5 - Tried to beat his man in his own half again. Could have won us the game, if he had passed the ball to Howard. In a word, frustrating.

Howard - 6 - Gave us a focal point at the end.

Ikeme - 7 Nothing to do

Neilson - 8 Totally different player to last year. Now a reliable option

Morrison - 7 Much better than Moreno, still not sure he's gonna fit into sousa footballing style

Hobbs - 7 The usual

Berner - 7 Best game so far this year. Getting there

Wellens - 6 Busy and got about, to many fancy passes though!

Oakley - 7 Played well, did what he needed to do.

King - 8 Best player on the pitch

Dyer - 8 Carried on his early season form, decision making is crap at times

Waghorn - 6 Unlucky not to score, much more to come

Fryatt - 5 Looks a yard of the pace

Subs

Howard - 6 Could of done better when through at the end

DNG - 5 GET YOUR HEAD UP!!!!

Gally - 6 Decent

Ikeme 5 (Had one shot to save that I remember and missed it without making the greatest of effort. Quite what Logan had done so wrong I don't know but using a seemingly mediocre loanee ahead of him was not my idea of a good decision. His kicking was aimless and although his close-range distribution was fine he often took too long to get the ball back in play, particularly from dead ball kicks. We needed to show some urgency and win the game).

Neilson 6.5 (Okay generally but was robbed trying to dribble towards the end and might easily have given a goal away against a faster, more ambitious side).

Morrison 6.5 (Sound enough but had very little to pressure to cope with).

Hobbs 6.5 (As above though I didn't like the way Coventry were allowed to score through a tamely defended header in front of goal. We seem to be conceding too many such goals).

Berner 6 (Better than of late. Tried to make some width but not especially impressive with his passing)..

Wellens 6.5 (Lost posession in typical fashion to cost us a goal and mixed some good work with some carelessly misdirected passes. Industrious as always but still not enough end product).

Oakley 6.5 (Steaily constructive and helped us dominate midfield)

King 8 (Another vital goal to become our leading scorer, lots of involvement with good runs and deft passes. Twice took up excellent positions for a full-back but was left frustrated by the lack of a pass. Top man for me.)

Dyer 7.5 (Another all-action effort in his roving role which gave Coventry lots to cope with. Brought the best save of the day with one low drive)

Waghorn 6.5 (Hit a post I believe and worked with typical determination despite being clearly short of match fitness. But, did too much of his work away from the penalty box.

Fryatt 5 (Such a disappointment. Selfish as ever and seemed to be leaning back so far when shooting he seemed to be trying to set a new elevation record. Looked less than fit and a pale shadow of his best).

Gallagher 6 (Might well have had a hand in Kingy's goal and involved himself well enough although seemed a bit too inclined to elaborate instead of doing things simply)

N'Guessan 5 (I'd really like to see him as a central striker. Made himself one great chance today to win it at the end with a perfectly time run beyond their defence. Could have shot on the volley but delayed and eventually chose to pass to Howard and the chance was gone. Bad decision.).

Howard 5.5 (Might have won a penalty but otherwise looked a bit laboured).

Ikeme 6- good goal kicks, only one shot to deal with all game wich was the goal

nielson 8.5- different player, really impressed

morrison 6- average, couldnt deal with platt headers

hobbs 6- same as above

berner 5- looked out of place

king 8.5- ran the midfield well, really nice goal

oakley 8- composed, good passing

wellens 7- played well with king, final ball to heavy for fryatt

waggy 7- tried his best, dont think he should be played wide

fryatt 6- nowhere in secong half, crap delivery in first made it difficult for him

Dyer 8.5 - beat players well, lokked alive and put in some really good shots

subs

gallagher 7- did well when he came on, great pass for king

dany 6- quite direct, poor decison making in good positions

howard 6- good touch, not much time to make impact

Ikeme 7 - Hard to rate, had virtually nothing to do, couple of easy catches

Neilson 8 - Like having a new signing, excellent

Morrison 7 - Sometimes too casual, not a lot to do, solid enough, much better than Moreno

Hobbs 7 - Again not much to do, fairly solid

Berner 7 - Some good tackles, very lucky not to get booked for consistent fouls! solid as usual

Oakley 7.5 - Another new signing, making tackles, running all over the pitch, massive improvment on last season

Wellens 7 - Too hit and miss, battles and gives 100% but often gives the ball away and misjudges passes, pretty solid all afternoon though

King 8 - Excellent all afternoon, gets stuck in, makes blocks, intercepts the ball, good passing, gets forward, another well taken goal

Waghorn 6 - Had very little impact on the game, baring in mind he was being played out of position, ran and gave it his all as usual

Fryatt 5 - Very poor, got in some good areas but did nothing with it, poor decision making, seems to have zero confidence in shooting, either wants to walk it into the net or pass

Dyer 8 - Excellent again for 60 minutes, seems to get tired, but can't blame him because he flies up and down the wing, caused real problems, beat his man everytime, end product can be disappointing

Subs:

Gallagher 7 - Really rate Gallagher, maybe should've been brought on for Fryatt after about 30 mins, looked good when he came on, creative, set up King's goal

N'Guessan 6 - Such a frustrating player, clearly got ability, maybe needs to react quicker sometimes and USE HIS STRENGTH, how does someone of his size get bullied off the ball?!?!

Howard 6 - Had very little impact, usual very tame shots, no power

We played very well as a team but individually its strange

Ikeme-7 good distribution, must have got bored

Nielson-8 super robbie again imo

Hobbs and Morrison-6 did their job

Berner-6 poor at times

Oakley-8 one of his better games, looked liked he wanted it

Wellens-5 he messed up for the goal, and generally werent impressed

King-9 super king. ran his ass off today, quality player

Waghorn-7 did very well at times, his ball with outside of foot was quality

Fryatt-5 just wasnt with it today should have done lots better many

Dyer-6 at times good, at times wasteful

Gallagher-6 didnt have much time but did ok

N'guessan-4 woeful when on pitch

Howard-6 was just howard

If that was Berner's best game of the season then he must have been poor in the others.

Wellens overhit most of his passes to Fryatt.

He gave the goal away acting the hardman, and seemed to spend all afternoon looking for a fight.

N'Guessan should be binned now, I've never rated him and when he turned the wrong way at the end, it finished him as far as I'm concerned.

Ikeme - 7 - Distribution quick and sounds. Bar that nothing to do

Neilson - 7 - Impressed dare I say it. Did what he can do well.

Morrison - 7 - Got out muscled for the Cov goal but paired up well with Hobbs

Hobbs - 7 - Easy day out for him. Never really needed to get going

Berner - 7 - Kept his marker in check. Signs of his fitness is returning with some impressive bursts down line and into box

Wellens - 8 - Bar losing possession for the goal was the most busiest of the midfield trio. Creativity upped to the maximum. If he failed a pass he would try again. Made bursting runs thru the middle which was a first for me

Oakley - 6 - Linked up play well in middle and looked good as a 3. Tired towards end and less effective

King - 8 - MOM - Less creative than Wellens but much more of a threat going forward. Looks much more like the King of the last 2 seasons and was involved throughout

Dyer - 8 - Close to getting the MOM. Their fullbacks will still be having nightmares of Lloyds runs. Looks different class this season and unlucky not to score.

Waghorn - 6 - Looked unfit compared to his team-mates and understandably at times trying a bit too much. Showed glimpses of the touch and strength we know created problems for defences for Championship sides.

Fryatt - 5 - Poor game and looked very uninterested. His touch was poor and every half chance appeared to make the wrong decision. Looks out of touch and lacking confidence. DJ would have scored today

Gally - 7 - Created the through ball for equaliser and his football brain suits this style. Its just where does he fit in?

N'Guessan - 6 - Caused them issues with his runs and pace and could have taken a chance to be the hero. Still gets bounced off the ball too much for a big guy

Howard - 6 - Wasnt really involved enough but his hold of play was good. Also had a chance to nab a winner

Sousa - 9 - Tactics spot on. On another day we would have steamrolled them. I went home happy that the future appears bright and the brand of football is a delight to watch. Having their fans boo at the final whistle shows how much we domminated the game.
