yes manderic has saved this club , thankyou manderic . but he has also put us in a strange position with these people . the third member is a billionaire whos main sport is polo. he has invested an awful lot in polo, hes unsure about the move into football . manderic says they can pay in two years time , why ? this all sounds very fishy to me , somethings wrong somewhere , i feel it !

If it had not been for Milan, this club could have gone out of business.

Those who knock him have either got very short memories, or are total twats. Probably both, come to think of it.

The bloke is still chairman of this football club. He still runs it.

What I object to is him telling us where he wants to go before he's left his current position, whilst we are in the middle of a very important takeover. When he's gone then he can do what the hell he likes.

Well I guess you mean me then because I think Milan is up there with John Elsom for me as sh*t chairmen who have not taken the club forward.

The only person who says the club would have gone out of business unless Milan came in, is the man Milan himself. Let us not forget his track record of saying one thing but meaning another. This is the same guy who said in the media he needed to spend more time with his family away from football, only to say he wants to save Portsmouth and get involved there. This is the guy who said in the media that Pearson talking to Hull shocked him and he would do everything in his power to persuade nigel to stay. The action of Nigel being pushed out the club to make way for Sousa contradicts this.

Frankly, Milan will say anything to the media so that the public hear what they need to hear, or what Milan wants them to hear. What he does or says behind closed doors does not always tally up.

Unless you're joking, what evidence is there that the 'third' person is a Billionaire??

Leicester City chairman Milan Mandaric will tonight meet with the administrators who are handling the financial mess at Portsmouth.

Mandaric, who spent eight years as owner at Fratton Park and has recently been linked with a return to the club, told the Portsmouth News he would talk to the administrators before tonight's Carling Cup clash between City and Pompey to determine the extent of the club's problems.

Mandaric told the Mercury on Saturday that talk of his Pompey return was a fabrication of the media, but he confessed to the News he would not rule out a return to a club where he is still revered by the supporters after establishing them as a Premier League club.

However, Mandaric did reaffirm his insistence that he is not looking to leave his post at City immediately after selling the club to the Asian Football Investments consortium.

"I never close the door on myself – and I never did it here either," Mandaric told the Portsmouth newspaper. "I am going to see the administrator, I do not know what the direction of the club is and what they want to do. I will see him before the Leicester game. I want to hear more details than what are in the papers.

"I will be honest with you, the people here need to sort the club out first. But for me to tell you 'no' would be wrong – I would come back in the right situation.

"It was the right situation when I took the club over in 1999 when it was in administration. I think there is a lot of clearance to be made. The mess is there and I am quite sure the administrators are there sorting it out.

"They need to clear things before they can get somebody on board like me.

"The one thing is you can never say never in this business.

"I am chairman, they want me to stay – that is my commitment to the club and supporters there.

"I want to make sure these people have proper direction and proper management there.

"Leaving has to be right for my sake."

What I really object to is that he's not telling us he wants to leave. He's telling the Mercury that he is committed to Leicester, while telling the south coast media that he's interested in "helping" (i.e. milking) Portsmouth one more time. Someone should tell him about the internet, and the fact that not everyone who lives in Leicester thinks that Northampton is in a foreign country.

Bottom line is Milan bought Portsmouth cheap, and sold dear. That's good business. Now he's thinking he can do the same thing again. I don't blame him, but I hope this puts a final nail in the coffin of the 'Milan is a Leicester fan' idea. He's no more a Leicester fan than the Glazers are Man U fans.

I just wish this Asia Football Investments takeover can be completed already so Milan can fvck off to Portsmouth and resume his dodgy dealings elsewhere.

thinking the same. Didn't see any potential retirement homes down that place for him.

For the benefit of those who dont have sky, He has just basically says he will be rejoining pompey after he leaves leicester.

I didn't find it that clear cut but yeah, it would seem that should everything go smoothly then we'll be waving goodbye to him.

He didn't say that at all.
