Guest Bilo Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 This could be one of those games of firsts. First time we score from a corner, first time we score in the first half, first away win etc. It's more likely to be the first time we lose 20-0 to Norwich and a football league manager gets gang-raped by eighteen footballers in the dressing room at the end of a game.

This is what i called complete devastation in football.
Lillehamring Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 jesus, if it's so painful supporting city why don't you all piss off and do something more useful than boring everyone to death with this garbage. i see no reason why we can't get a result against norwich, they aren't that special. i mean, look at our last 4 games... Cardiff - 2nd in the league, and averaging 2 goals a game - we won 2-1 QPR - top of the league, 22 points from a possible 24, +20 goal difference, apart from 2 moments of class even warnock said it was their toughest game Portsmouth (cup) - just relegated after 7 years in the prem (including 2 top 10 finishes) and with a relatively intact squad - we won 2-1 Portsmouth (league) - as above, ok they dicked us, but given the quality of their team, they had the fortune to be gifted effectively a 2 goal head start and an extra man for 70 minutes and suddenly rediscovered their confidence.. we lost. ...it is clear that we aren't as hopeless as that last result suggests, and what bigger motivation could such a stuffing provide. rather than crying like a bunch of babies like most of the contributors to FT these days, i'm sure the team that put in those respectable performances will be dying to prove what they are capable of, and i'm sure no team ever wants to face a team that beat the second place team a fortnight before getting stuffed 6-1. 2-1 leicester.

You haven't had to sit through the performances. You've been tucked up in bed, with your Hot chocolate, whilst snow's been falling outside your window. It's unacceptable, you can't surely agree that, because we got done over by bottom of the league, we're going to win against a side that is playing well, fair enough they haven't won their last 2. But Norwich are playing very well, there sitting 6th in the table. Saying that, I wouldn't be surprised if we beat Norwich. It's the Leicester way to get hammered against bottom of the league, then beat the sides at the top of the table.
Donut Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Probably be something like 4-0 to Norwich. Paul Lambert has been doing a stirling job with the Canaries, getting them promoted easily last season and pushing on this. Grant Holt is in the goals again, Darrell Russell packs a punch in midfield, and unfortunately theyre going to be far too strong for us on tuesday. The only good i can see coming out of this is that it might accelerate the departures of Sousa and Mandaric from our club and we can start the rebuilding job on the destruction the Portuguese bellend has created
THEBIGJOHNSTEADER; Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 1-0 fryatt In the first half from a set peice?
Jakemoore Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 We'll lose that's almost a certainty and Sousa needs to be sacked straight after the match

unreachable Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Apart from Valerenga what a depressing lot of posters. I thought that this was supposed to be a site for LCFC supporters not those who are so pessimistic as to think we will lose our games. Absolute time wasters most of you. I will be there SUPPORTING the team next Tuesday.
Tilley Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 So what, the fans are moaning and expect us to lose? Doesn't mean the people going aren't going to support the team, does it? On the back of a 6-1 hiding which put us bottom of the league, a clown in charge and a bunch of players who can't be arsed - tell me what there is to be optimistic about?

I believe, sadly, that we will lose comfortably.

I believe, sadly, that we will lose comfortably. I don't have that frame of mind. I look forward to matches and go with an optimistic frame of mind. I remember under Rob Kelly when we won at QPR away with fantastic commitment against the odds. If I went thinking we would lose I wouldn't bother wasting my time and money going.
Guest Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 We'll lose that's almost a certainty and Sousa needs to be sacked straight after the match Let's hope you never move into motivational speaking 2-1 to us. King and Fryatt
Callabinho Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 4-0 To Norwich. The Norwich fans wont let us forget about Pompey and i can see us getting another hiding, with Morale Low and the manager seems pretty happy to get smashed so i suppose 4-0 isn't a bad score line. they will take a 3-0 lead before half time and i bet this is his team: Weale Lamey Hobbs Morrison Burner Wellens Oakley King Howard Waghorn Fryatt
lcfc_sam_p Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 3-0 Leicester to start off an unbeaten run of atleast 10 games.
MC Prussian Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 3-0 Leicester to start off an unbeaten run of atleast 10 games. Even my type of hope is not that foolish.
MC Prussian Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 ok..3-1 Roughly 66 percent of the voter's in this particular poll think the same. With the result going in Norwich's favour.
darko2k7 Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I can only see two ways this can go after the Portsmouth nightmare 1 . The squad will still be feeling sorry for them selfs and will just put thir heads in the sand and hope it all goes away or 2. The squad will be galvanised from the defeat and want to prove everyone wrong and it will be the performance of the season Come on city pick your self s up , dust your serfs down and start again , 100% effort and a bit off luck and the game is our's :fox:
Wilson_6 Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 A defeat is the only possible outcome on current form. mate a nob head....current form, have you actually been down the city this season, b4 friday we have been playing quite well.
