Edmund Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Anybody watching this? Thought it was brilliant. On every Thursday at 9:00PM Sky 1 If you missed the first one : http://www.megavideo.com/?v=MXYNE7YA
Matt Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Saw it on Thursday, started slowly but was very funny in the end.
sdb Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Not seen it so can't really comment but personally hold Karl Pilkington responsible for the demise of Ricky Gervais (as well as RG himself). Those podcasts just weren't that funny.
Guest NGoloMode Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I thought it was really funny. Looking forward to the next one.

Those podcasts just weren't that funny. Never used to listen to the podcasts but they've blatantly milked Gervais to try and raise viewing figures for the show. Parts are obviously staged but it's funny nonetheless.

FoxyPV Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Ricky Gervais is as funny as being told you've got AIDS.
Jay Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 The bit where he was calmly eating a park of monster munch while the bloke ate the Fetus and the girl ate the scorpions had me in stitches. brilliant tv
Samilktray Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 This is so funny. The Great Wall Of China bit is hilarious
rico Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 Really enjoyed the 1st episode, next stop the Taj Mahal
purpleronnie Posted 26 September 2010 Posted 26 September 2010 I thought the early podcasts were great but I cant help but feel Karl is now playing a part.
Nick Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 It's impressive the way it goes off into the mountains an that......... but so does the M6. Comedy genius.
poopbutt Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I thought the early podcasts were great but I cant help but feel Karl is now playing a part. errr,.. he's been doing that all along.
purpleronnie Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 errr,.. he's been doing that all along. Really? So he's an actor? I thought he was a producer at a radio station. Please enlighten me.
BrummieFOX Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 There's absolutely no way the podcasts were completely scripted and Karl was acting stupid however I don't doubt that he started to play up to his 'character' and realised what is going to sound funny etc. Again, why do people pick everything apart, just enjoy it for what it is, easy listening/watching that doesn't require much brainpower and a chance to switch off for a while and have a laugh. Much like The Inbetweeners. Chill out.....yeah?
hairy Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Watched the first one last night and really enjoyed it

BrummieFOX Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 u seem to be the one getting upset Haha, but not with a television programme though.
purpleronnie Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Its insane to think that ricky who had a show at a relatively small radio staion and decided one day that the producer will become a comedy character and they would script hours of material for a small audience. And all the interviews and footage which has been filmed are all scripted that karl had to memorize.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I thought it was pretty funny, the way gervais laughs at every single thing he says got on my nerves a bit though
Mack Posted 18 October 2010 Posted 18 October 2010 Am I the only one who finds this show about as funny as having your balls cheese grated by Joe Brand in a thong? Did I miss something?
