Not seen it so can't really comment but personally hold Karl Pilkington responsible for the demise of Ricky Gervais (as well as RG himself). Those podcasts just weren't that funny.

Never used to listen to the podcasts but they've blatantly milked Gervais to try and raise viewing figures for the show.

Parts are obviously staged but it's funny nonetheless.

yeah i've heard good things about this show so maybe should give it a go

the podcast went along the lines of RG/SM bring up a subject, KP say something ridiculous (& obviously scripted) and then RG howl with laughter for 5 mins. repeated. over & over again!

The bit where he was calmly eating a park of monster munch while the bloke ate the Fetus and the girl ate the scorpions had me in stitches.

There's absolutely no way the podcasts were completely scripted and Karl was acting stupid however I don't doubt that he started to play up to his 'character' and realised what is going to sound funny etc.

Again, why do people pick everything apart, just enjoy it for what it is, easy listening/watching that doesn't require much brainpower and a chance to switch off for a while and have a laugh. Much like The Inbetweeners.

Chill out.....yeah?

Its insane to think that ricky who had a show at a relatively small radio staion and decided one day that the producer will become a comedy character and they would script hours of material for a small audience. And all the interviews and footage which has been filmed are all scripted that karl had to memorize. lol

Am I the only one who finds this show about as funny as having your balls cheese grated by Joe Brand in a thong?

Did I miss something?
