nickelbyfox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Rosenoir may not be great but has more pace than Neilson or Lamey who are dead horses! Would definitely suit the overlapping full back idea more than the other too
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Is this guy any better than Kerrea Gilbert? I doubt it. Why not go for him instead, not a world beater but I imagine would also not want as much money as this guy,

Stevosevic Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Good Point- does any one know if he's available? Currently a free agent. Suprising really, would have thought he would easily get a club in the football league.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Is this guy any better than Kerrea Gilbert? I doubt it. Why not go for him instead, not a world beater but I imagine would also not want as much money as this guy, Bloody hell, people on still going on about Gilbert - he hasn't done anything for a couple seasons since we didn't take him up. Apparently he's a free agent having left Arsenal and may be traninig with the Orient. In terms of Liam, I would agree in that it seems strange that we sign him now as opposed to a month or two ago - and I'm not suprised the Lamey signing hasn't quite worked out so far, I was never 100% convinced (The dutch leagues do have quality in places, but not all over and I sensed this guy was journey man but hopefully he can prove me wrong). I personally thought it was a no brainer signing him when we were originially linked - a guy with something to prove, give him a one or two year contract to show his worth. I still think we're short of quality at right back but the signing at this stage smacks of desperation (by both parties). I sense there is a changing attitude in Sousa, he's realised he's made some utter balls up, but it appears all too little to late. And to the person that mentioned Jay Demerit, I heard he was linked with Everton, but quite frankly we should of put a bid in ages ago (along with Chris fooking Riggott). The oppertunties were there, we just didn't take them.
Legend_in_blue Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 There was a time under Kelly when we were labelled "Right Back United". Morrison, Lamey, Neilson, Rosenior... They say what goes around comes around.
Narborough_fox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 There was a time under Kelly that we were termed "Right Back United". I remember a game where we had 3 Right-backs on the pitch and 2 on the bench, was ludicrous.
Koke Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I'd probably take him, don't rate any of our full backs. I'd rather have Neilson and Morrison at RB before this clown of a guy.
MPH Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I cant help but think signing Rosenior would be a little unfair on Nielsen. Nielsen has been anything BUT guff this season. not exactly spectacular, but decent all the same. besides, RB is NOT a position of concern for me right now... CB or settling down the mid... and as for the strikers.... GOOTNESS!! It seems almost like trying to put a plaster over the grand canyon...
CheshireFox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 hopefully this is going to only take place if the new manager wants it to- could be a bit uncomfortable for everyone otherwise!!
J.Lisemore Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Makes you think, is this yet again a Mandaric signing?
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Makes you think, is this yet again a Mandaric signing? Or... it could have been something Sven instigated and maybe this brought things with Sousa to a head?
unreachable Posted 1 October 2010 Author Posted 1 October 2010 Stringer just said on RL that medical put back until this morning and with Sousa being sacked the deal is up in the air.
