Babylon Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Someone told me Hoos has been seen at the Marriott with Kevin Mcdonald / Kevin Macdonald. Whether that's the Burnley midfielder currently available for loan, or the Aston Villa coach I have absolutely no idea. And neither did the person who told me as he's got it from someone else, so I've put them both down. Believe what you wish as I haven't got a scooby doo if it's true or not, I'm just throwing it out there.

Also why would Hobbs see a Burnley midfielder? many possibilities, but lets wait & see.

teblin Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Trying to set a good example. Hasn't Kevin McDonald been our manager before?
dandannieldanok Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 If true, surely it would be Kevin MacDonald the Villa coach. Why would they meet in a hotel with a loan signing?
teblin Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 If true, surely it would be Kevin MacDonald the Villa coach. Why would they meet in a hotel with a loan signing? Plus Not sure how many people would recognise the midfielder.
Babylon Posted 30 September 2010 Author Posted 30 September 2010 If true, surely it would be Kevin MacDonald the Villa coach. Why would they meet in a hotel with a loan signing? I think it's fairly regular to meet there, somewhere neutral away from where press could be lurking.
Babylon Posted 30 September 2010 Author Posted 30 September 2010 Plus Not sure how many people would recognise the midfielder. I'm not sure how many people would recognise the coach to be honest ha. My first question was how the hell do they know what they look like!
foxoffderby Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I think he was caretaker manager at some point. Remember watching him as a player for us in the '80's. He was a very good tough tackeling midfielder from Scotland.

It is obvious that Hoos is going to sign for Villa's reserves! God knows why we did not see his potential on the pitch
poopbutt Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 terrible idea. probably too much to ask but please don't let's have a repeat of the revolving door of shit we had a few years back.
bettso Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 He was caretaker boss with Tony McAndrew after Brian Little left. They both joined Villa shortly after. There is no logic behind the meeting other than a loan signing. Touting him as a manager wouldnt make sense unless they want him in the backroom set up?
Wycombe Fox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I wouldn't be surprised if we were meeting Ronald fookin McDonald the way this shambles of a season is going.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Maybe O'Neil is telling them who he wants as back room staff and Hoos is meeting them

Perhaps they are just sorting the contracts with MON's backroom team
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Perhaps they are just sorting the contracts with MON's backroom team I would love this to be true!!
foxoffderby Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Maybe O'Neil is telling them who he wants as back room staff and Hoos is meeting them Never thought of that, love the logic these O'Neil links are getting stronger. I hope your right Liam
Finnegan Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 Jesus Christ. Martin O'Neill is the new Robbie Fowler.
James. Posted 30 September 2010 Posted 30 September 2010 I think it's safe to say that Martin O'Neill is on his way back to Leicester.
