FoX4LiFe! Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Make your mind up on what you tell the press, yesterday telling them that Paulo's in our long term plans, now sacking him? not that it's a bad thing
Alexikokopops Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 It's a superb turn around, even by Milan's standards.
dandannieldanok Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Never heard of the dreaded vote of confidence? Even so, just one day before takes the dreaded vote of confidence to a completely new level !
Edmund Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Even so, just one day before takes the dreaded vote of confidence to a completely new level ! Nothing at this club shocks me anymore.
Alexikokopops Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Nothing at this club shocks me anymore. The thing that's more surprising is that it wasn't just the standard "vote of confidence", we even had Milan asking the fans not to turn on the manager only yesterday Superb.
cc_star Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 1) Its just the dreaded vote of confidence 2) Sousa was probably working that day and Milan didn't want him nicking all the stationary, pissing behind the cupboards and crapping on the boardroom table 3) Who gives a fook, he was the most inept man I'd ever seen in a job
Far Post Gerry Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 The worrying/sad/scary thing is, that he was probably sounding out replacements before giving Sousa the vote of confidence.

Alexikokopops Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I've just read the mirror article about Sven and noticed this bit at the end: "The axe finally fell yesterday after Sousa met Leicester officials to be told of his fate. Friends say he 'smelled a rat' after hearing of the Eriksson interest and wanted to know about his future." It could be that the club planned for it to happen a little later, until Paulo popped up asking about his future and they bought it forward.
MPH Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 I also don't think Milan has the deciding vote anymore. He may of tried to persuade the board to keep him but others decided againast it.
Wycombe Fox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Nothing at this club shocks me anymore. Apart maybe from the speed with which the OS has reported the news
ithuriel Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Satan has banned Mandy from entering club hell, God is scared
ajthefox Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Milan can fook off down south as soon as they'll have him for all I care.
Petchy Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 Say what you want but I do think Mandaric does have some passion for our club. He's acted out by getting rid of Sousa before another Holloway situation occurred. He just said on BBC Radio Leicester he 'Couldn't give a damn at the LMA criticism as he cares more about the success of the club'. I've not been happy at some things he's done but he does have moments where his passion is evident and at least he's honest with us!
1964FOX Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 There out in force on the phone in, some cracking comments. Where do they get these people from.

Y'know, the one that runs our club? Honest is one characteristic Mandaric doesn't have, he's absolutely full of shit!
Smudge Posted 1 October 2010 Posted 1 October 2010 This is purely a speculative thought and might account for the 180 turnaround. Maybe Mandaric made that statement so as to delay the payoff of Sousa until he had disposed of the Club. In the meantime the new owners have put their foot down and told him to deal with the issue. There's talk of another high profile person leaving soon, maybe it's Mandaric?

Yet again handled terribly, even if it was the right thing to do.

Did you hear his interview on BBC radio Leicester? Didn't sound the 'selfish' man he's been portrayed as of late. I've acknowledged the fact that i've had my doubts over him but with regards to this current situation, I think he had sufficient reasons to do what he did. Least he actually told us the scenario and didn't give us the usual - He wasn't right for the job.. feature endeavours..
