maddog Posted 20 October 2010 Posted 20 October 2010 Swansea haven't conceded a single goal in their last 3 games, so it seems Brendan Rodgers has kept it tight at the back like Sousa did for them. They lie in 6th place in the table now only 8 points ahead of us so it would be nice to close that gap to 5. Lead by Scott Sinclair and Dobbie they have goals in them also. We lost 1-0 most recently at the Liberty and beat them 2-1 at home thanks to a Waghorn, Super Dany combo. I'm confident with Weale back in the side and the additions of Davies and Naughton has made our defence one of the strongest on paper in the Championship, lets hope they all consistently perform now. Looked to be some super football played against Leeds on the highlights, i think we are capable of going to Swansea and doing them. Going to say 1-0 to us this time around with Moussa grabbing that all important winner :locked:
Guest Bilo Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Tough to beat at the Liberty and going well so far this term. We're going to have to be well on our game and take the chances that come our way, can't imagine Swansea being as accommodating as Leeds were. 1-1 draw and the unbeaten run continues.
MattyFromLE Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I think a point away would be a cracking result.
lestajigs Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Don't think they have. Lost in home for ages have they???(correct me if I'm wrong)............. So I'm going for 1.2 Leicester, king waghorn
Swansfan Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Don't think they have. Lost in home for ages have they???(correct me if I'm wrong)............. So I'm going for 1.2 Leicester, king waghorn The last time we lost at home was Tues 16th March against West Brom last season.
muzzieizzet Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 nail biting 2-1 to leicester, howard and gallagher and a big thank you to Sven
Jiggers the Fox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I would literally bite your hand off for a point right now
Jackirius Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Just seen the highlights of the Leeds game, looks promising. Players showed alot of passion when the first goal went it
StanSP Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 After Tuesday's performance, I'm feeling much more confident. I think we can pick up an encouraging point as Swansea is a tough place to go. I'll say 1-1. King with our goal.
lou Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 They are due a spanking..... 4-0 (id be happy with a point though! )
phillthefox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 To be fair i would take a point now and save a long drive to swansea, however i feel they are due for a pasting and feel the way we played at leeds could do these big time.... waghorn 3-0
shailen Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Although Swansea are tough to beat at home, the way we played against leeds should mean a win. So i reckon it'll be 2-1 with king and howard scoring. Would take a point with their defensive record.
Simmo86 Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Would bite your hand off for a point right now. Keep the unbeaten run going then on to Preston ( via the baggies)
Tilley Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Yeah, a point would be a good result here and I think we'll get it.
nickelbyfox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Excited to see how it goes, will really let us know how good we are! Would take a point but fancy another cheeky 2-1
FoxyPV Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I'd take a point now but I'll hope for a sneaky win
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 A draw would be a good result, think we can win though.
Corky Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Will be difficult to win, good run to continue though with a point. 1-1.
Christoph Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 A loss wouldnt be the end of the world but wouldnt bring much inspiration for promotion, a draw would be decent, a win would realy show that we are back on track and ready for promotion. I'll be satisfied with a draw though, a win would be a bonus, depends on who starts, fryatt replacing gally and howard coming on as super sub could be decent
carterfox90 Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 0-0 a good point & a clean sheet for a change would be happy with that
z-layrex Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I think a hard fought draw. Swansea are a great team and we still need more time.
Callabinho Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I'd take a 0-0, Swansea are a good team! So a point away would be brilliant!
