surrifox Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 calm down. day 1 of 25 . I would have been much more worried if Johnson took the wickets as he has the potential to be the difference between the sides so far as the attacks are concerned. As it turned out he bowled shite and hopefully will maintain that form throughout the rest of the series. none of the other bowlers looked up to much and the wickets went to Siddle who looks about county player standard and did nothing much over here last year. He just had a good day- it happens if you bowl straight and the batters have an off day you will get wickets there was nothing much in the conditions and on another day he would not have done the damage- no need to panic just yet, gabba is a graveyard for touring sides- if we can get out with a draw we will probably win the series 2-1 if not there will be all to play for
Fosse Boy Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 calm down. day 1 of 25. Bout time someone said that.

ramboacdc Posted 25 November 2010 Posted 25 November 2010 tonight could be interesting. if we can get a few early wickets (before lunch at least) we have a chance of forcing a follow on. their batting isnt as good as they brag. just as long as we bowl well and field better we stand a good chance. the ball should bounce better tonight aswell. a good slow spinner will do well here.
