Haydos Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Definitely getting in on some drinking game action next test
J.Lisemore Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Declared on 517-1... good stuff Aussies need 297 runs to win.
Fosse Boy Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Fantastic work from our centurions. Tails up now like after ther Cardiff Test last time.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Unfourtanetly apart from Hauritz and Bollinger there isn't much else to choose from if things continue to go bad Mckay may come in But day 4 and 5 would be close to on of the worst by an Aussie side in History
Corky Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Great effort by all three batsmen, and kept Australia in the field for a long time as well.
purpleronnie Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 I wonder if the Aussies still think cooks overrated?
I am Rod Hull Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 The ground was empty.. I thought it was being played at Cov.
BoneDog Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 "what the hell is cricket?" I'm not a cricket fan but I listened to the full first night/day on 5 Live Sports Extra (I must have been bored to listen to cricket on the radio) and it was pretty entertaining to be fair. I also learned a few things about how cricket is not as simple as I thought. It's very technical! Kept up with it since then by looking on BBC cricket site and I cannot believe England got that many runs for 1 wicket to get the draw. Good effort.

Was up watching til 1.45 this morning, and said I'd go to sleep after Cook got his double century. I fell asleep and found out Cook got his double 5 minutes later! Quite excited for the second Test now. Curious as to how many changes will be made for each team.
ScouseFox Posted 29 November 2010 Posted 29 November 2010 Just watched the highlights of the final day, Johnson's place must be in jeopardy after his perfomance in the first test.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 30 November 2010 Posted 30 November 2010 The ground was empty.. I thought it was being played at Cov. People in Australia have jobs during the week Johnson and North out Bollinger and Khwaja (but would prefer Cam White )
Alexikokopops Posted 30 November 2010 Posted 30 November 2010 People in Australia have jobs during the week Johnson and North out Bollinger and Khwaja (but would prefer Cam White ) So they have jobs on Mondays, but not on Thursdays and Fridays when the ground was a lot more full
Narborough_fox Posted 1 December 2010 Posted 1 December 2010 How was the first test a draw when Australia got 588 & England get 777?
