Fosse Boy Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Listening to this on Radio 4! Is Agnew on a wind-up?
cambridgefox Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 People in Australia have jobs during the week Johnson and North out Bollinger and Khwaja (but would prefer Cam White ) Katich and ponting seem to have done little work wise tday!!!
FoxyPV Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 No, Ponting edged a good delivery from Anderson to second slip. Good bit of swing on the ball. Clarke's got Oz off the mark. I wonder what Broad'll do.
FoxyPV Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Clarke gone - Anderson's having a belter!! Clarke gone - Anderson's having a belter!!
cambridgefox Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 This cant be happening! its great! Ive seen more adverts than cricked on sky!
StanSP Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Anderson gets his 3rd and England's 4th . Come on! 96-4.
ScouseFox Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Good batting pitch, draw written all over this... All out 245
Corky Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Watched the brilliant start, Anderson deserved that after his excellent spell in the Australian first innings of the first Test against Hussey and Haddin. To bowl them out for 245 is a top effort.
StanSP Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 I was a tad surprised to see 245 as the score they reached. With the start England had, I would have expected about to bowl them our for a bit less, say around the 200 mark. That's not to say I'm not happy, I'm delighted, but was expecting a tiny bit more!
martyn Posted 3 December 2010 Posted 3 December 2010 Stan, the Adelaide pitch is as flat as a pancake. To bowl a side batting first for anything under around 375 is a more than decent effort, 245 is massively sub par. Just hope we can bat well on it.

That was Australia's lowest score in an Adelaide Ashes Test since 1912, or something like that, which shows that either our bowling is usually crap or the pitch is a belter. The latter is more likely, we've done really well.
