Donut Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Yuki had a great game today, he used the ball sensibly, got himself into good areas, made tackles, his all round game was very good I dont care about the haters particularly. In the main, theyre no judge of player ability
TheUltimateWinner Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 not as bad as the Mr Know-it-all behind me today, spouting out a load of rubbish and swearing at the top of his voice in the family enclosure... Which part where you in? I heard him too
Mack Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 I trust Sven, if he can see something in the lad then go for it. No one should boo a player turning out for city, that is pathetic.
Jay Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 I thought he had a good game today, made some nice runs, made himself available, covered well for Naughton pushing forward which I image was one of his responsibilities today. He also showed some good skills and made some lovely weighted passes especially for Gallaghers goal
hotdogfox Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Which part where you in? I heard him too Block P2 It was particularly disgusting when he screamed for Howard to break Wayne Browns Legs... I used to have a season ticket in the Kop but wanted to move away from the fans who know nothing about football and moan about everything whilst loving the sound of their own voice, seems like you cant avoid them anywhere
Swalker Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 I have to say that he was the best ciy player vs WBA and probably the man of the match today. He is playing really well in this new position on the right wing as he is linking up with Naughton very well and he is supporting Naughton to go forward. HE is in great form at the minute and is playing great under Erikson. He seems to be finding his feet well now and it seems we have found his position
The Doctor Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Zsolt how many have an instant impact and keep that up over more than 1 game?
Webbo Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 He was good today not brilliant. That's not to say he won't be brilliant in the future but people are getting carried away with today's performance.
sdb Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Zsolt you've missed the point. i'm saying you can't judge someone instantly - good or bad. anyway he didn't have an instant impact, he played well for 70 mins of his debut and never again.
lildave3 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Bloody good today, still obviously getting used to the style and the rest of the team but you can tell he's a player whois useful to have around. Although a guy sat near me today slated EVERYTHING he did, pissed me right off.
Stadt Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Yuki give us a wave Yuki Yuki give us a wave! He doesn't understand us....
Guest ttfn Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 He was good today not brilliant. That's not to say he won't be brilliant in the future but people are getting carried away with today's performance. Agreed. You could tell that he had no idea what to do when he was one-on-one with Davidson, although you wouldn't expect him to, given that he's a holding midfielder. His touch and awareness was first class though. Cracking spot to see Gallagher in space with Fryatt's run the more obvious target.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 I used to have a season ticket in the Kop but wanted to move away from the fans who know nothing about football and moan about everything whilst loving the sound of their own voice, seems like you cant avoid them anywhere I think me and my mate are moving our season tickets because of this. Some absolute bellend sits behind us and he sucks the fun out of everything. He was literally holding nothing back in slating all of our players for the first half hour despite the fact we started so brightly. Guy is an absolute cretin.
YukiAbe22 Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 How can people be so Fickle, Abe has the potential to be an Legend at Leicester. Does no one realize he can hardly speak any English, He left his family and has traveled Half way around the world to play football Kyle Naughton and Yuki Abe was a very good partnership down the right side today, ok he made a few mistakes, but no more than other players, his performance was one of the best i have seen. Once Abe's English improves, he will be able to explain to the players what he wants to do for set pieces, hence then he can start taking some free kicks. __ Why do fans have to sing the awful Abe, He'll eat your fooking dog song its just not funny and i'd find it highly offensive, they don't even eat Dog in Japan. Rant Over __ What was the Second part to the Yuki Yuki give us a wave song, about how he doesn't understand us, anyone know what the words to the second part was? that was funny .
Leicester_Loyal Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Abe was our best player today, have a go at Fryatt or Waghorn or N'Guessen, people who didn't perform today.
sdb Posted 30 October 2010 Posted 30 October 2010 Abe was our best player today, have a go at Fryatt or Waghorn or N'Guessen, people who didn't perform today. or just stick to positive stuff!! this place is always desperate for scapegoats - even when we win!
Steven Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 At the start of the game, some gimp in L1 booed him when his name was read out. What a gimp. Don't insult disabled people, they would never boo.
Asherz Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 ffs seriously... j-league to championship , japan to england ............... is it not gonna take some time to adjust to a massive change in lifestyle culture and football..... take your heads out your arses and stop digging into a player less than 8 weeks after he has moved from the other side of the world! not in the same context but it took a japanese superbike rider a year to adjust when he came to british superbikes now he kicks arse and won the championship 3 times in the 5 seasons he has done over here give the bloke a fooking break he needs to get settled in to leicesters way of life... get his family here... learn to speak and understand english .......so yeh kindly stfu haters
JohnnieSpangles Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 <_< <_< Confirmed beyond all doubt we have the largest proportion of stupid fans in the country.
Claymore Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Block P2 It was particularly disgusting when he screamed for Howard to break Wayne Browns Legs... I used to have a season ticket in the Kop but wanted to move away from the fans who know nothing about football and moan about everything whilst loving the sound of their own voice, seems like you cant avoid them anywhere Come and join me us in J2, great view but nobody says a bloody word.
mitsuo Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 Play out of position but he will do his best at this position for the team. He said he will sacrifice for the team then..... In japan, he played as a playmaker behind the 2 Strikers ( JEF United Chiba ) , he played Holding MDF, DF for Urawa reds and then he had played central DF, LB,RB and recently holding MDF ( his natural position ) i follow YUKI since 2004. I know him well. The guy was important for every team he played for.... For japan national team, he often played out of position. He doesn't complaint , he want to be usefull for the team. Right winger is new for him. He need to adapt but he'll do his best. When he played RB and LB for Japan, he was ok. Solid but no more. He kept it simple. For me, he is not fast and skilfull enough to play on the wing.( it's not Ronaldo ) 1 touch, pressing, intelligent pass, assist. ( it's Yuki Style )
MikeyT Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 At the start of the game, some gimp in L1 booed him when his name was read out. What a gimp. Then that man is a plank. As many have said previous to my comment here, he is from another country, he has to adapt to the Championship style of play, he's alreay on his second manager, he doesn't speak our language yet and he was played in a different position that he isn't familiar with. You don't get 50+ caps for Japan wthout having something about you. Once settled properly he will be a fantastic acquisition, i've no doubt about that. Oh, and i wish someone would let him take one of our free kicks.
thorpefox Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 until Tuesday i would have agreed with you, but he looked better against west brom, and for me the second best player on the pitch behind vitor. Starting to show reasons why he has won 50+ caps for japan. We will all be loving him before the seasons over, just watch.

( it's Yuki Style ) thing is in Kyle Naughton we have a RB who goes down the wing at 100mph and seems to spend more time in opposition area than our own so having Yuki drop back and cover his advances is a role he is probably ideally suited to.
mitsuo Posted 31 October 2010 Posted 31 October 2010 yes he always cover his teammate who he's going forward.
