surrifox Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 2 in 2 games- when did that last happen? City have been denied penalties for much more obvious offences earlier in the season and the handball against Sheff U was a bit fortunate . Still grateful though.
Foxblogger Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 City scored successive penalties against Peterborough and Watford last September. They last scored penalties in successive home games in September 2002. Paul Dickov got them both against Bradford and Wolves. I'm glad to see our luck finally turn with spot kicks. I think there were less that half a dozen Championship sides who had yet to win one by the time we played Sheffield Utd.

Corky Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 It's about time. We had blatant penalties against Coventry and QPR not given, a possible against Preston as well.
MrSpaM Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Dodgy decisions have cost us points this season, Kings disalowed goals being the main culprits (he'd be second in the leagues top scorers behind Bothroyd if the ref had any sense). It's about time we started getting some decisions going our way, Howard was even winning some free kicks v Derby
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 I'd like to know how many penalties Burnley have had. I swear each week i see them on the FLS they have one. In our case, the annoying this is that we have had more blatant penalties not given than the two which have. But I dont care whatever anyone says, these things dont always even themselves out.
rams r4 sh*ggin Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 i think getting these decisions going for us of late is to do with the sven factor just like fergie at united. the refs have a sense of respect for what they achieve so hence give them more of the play.

Bottom right, Burnley have had 5 for 1 against, QPR 8 - 2. http://www.soccerstats.com/scoring.asp?league=england2

Probably not over the course of a season but over the course of five or ten they blatantly do (unless you are talking about United or Chelsea).
ousefox Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Probably not over the course of a season but over the course of five or ten they blatantly do (unless you are talking about United or Chelsea). Well it is the season that matters really. Can't believe QPR have had 8 this season.
J.Lisemore Posted 15 November 2010 Posted 15 November 2010 Anyone remember the game against Wimbledon at home and we got 2 penalties within the first 10 minutes? Paul Dickov
Swalker Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 2 Penalties in 2 games again. Does anyone know how many penalties we have had this season? But I have to say that we just seem to be getting repaid for all of those penalties that weren't and all of Kingy's goals that weren't earlier on in the season.

Stevosevic Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 howard scored 2 in 2 this season, sheff utd and derby
lcfcsnow Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 howard scored 2 in 2 this season, sheff utd and derby And missed one down Bristol. We've had 6 in the last 7 games I think.
Swalker Posted 11 December 2010 Posted 11 December 2010 Gallagher has had 2 in 2 now. Both in exactly the same place, taken exactly the same way. Both times the keepers got a hand to it but there was too much power.
