tetly Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 well looking forward to the match against bristol city, ive got a good feeling about the match think we will win put a bit more space us and the bottom three and close the gap on play off spaces. i dont think it wwill be easy but we are comming into good form, anyway if we do win looking at the fixtures i think we could go on a long unbeaten run maybe until jan. i am realy enjoying being a lcfc fan at the min. 20 years now
Loughborough Fox Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 Does anybody know if there's any places left on fox travel for Bristol??
marbelladave Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 Some tough decisions to be made... Hobbs or Vitor? i remain unconvinced with Hobbs on the left, so for me it is a no-brainer, however Vitor appears to be made out of glass so it may not be an issue. Abe or Oakley? Another no-brainer for me but Sven seems to hold Oakley in high regard, hopefully not that high... Vassell or Dyer? Dyer deserves a start, but Vassell is very much 'Svens man' so maybe not. Howard or Waghorn? We seem more effective with Howard up front but somehow it does not feel right. Please get us a center forward... Looking forward to it very much, M4 instead of the M1, makes a nice change!
Lillehamring Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 Think this will be a draw, 1-1 my prediction. Would like to see roughly the same team that played vs Derby, with Dyer possibly in it for Vassell. I do hope Sven doesnt put Oakley in, he seems to usually always get into the team some how when he is fit, when he is is certainly no better than all out other midfielders. Wish I was going, but its that bit too far so will have to get the radio out and try to pick up RL somehow. I wish that free link to the player commentary was still available! this is what worries me, it's the same with howard - mind you, he doesn't exactly have anyone pushing him for a place just now hopefully sven will realise that abe is a better player, and oakley is not fit enough. of course, if sven goes 442 it makes it even more difficult.... if we do go 442, i'd like to see gally - wellens - abe - dyer king - fryatt/howard/waghorn controversial?
Kitchandro Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 I really don't see why we should change anything apart from Vassell - who wasn't that bad but stood out as our worst player because we were so good. Hobbs deserves his place and therefore he should keep it. It's better for us in the long run too to play him. Howard should play too, he was massive for us last week. I like Waghorn but he can't have Howard's place, that is a no-brainer.

That's just silly. Put king in a position where he is expected to score and he will be sussed out. of course, if sven goes 442 it makes it even more difficult.... if we do go 442, i'd like to see gally - wellens - abe - dyer king - fryatt/howard/waghorn controversial?
ing Posted 19 November 2010 Posted 19 November 2010 Doubt Vitor in as saw him limping past the clock tower with his Mrs about 5ish.
Spudulike Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Vitor has only partially trained this week. Same team as last week I reckon. Just hope that we get a second half Derby type of performance rather than a Sheff Utd. ...and just hope that I can get an unrestricted view around the steel roof supports !!!! iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Setting off inabout an hour. Mates driving, Radio 1 , Unreserved seating, plenty of noise, Leicester win, good day ahead.

Not controversial, just silly. Why would you put King up front? Just because he can score goals??? His main strength is to ghost in to the box (Paul Scholes like) in behind defenders or into the space between the defence and the midfield. The timing of his runs from the middle are crucial to his success. That's why he scores goals
MikeyT Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I'm with a few others here....never change a winning side. We've done well of late with the starting 11, so let's keep it the way it is. Oakley on the bench at most.

Father Ted Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 If Vitor is fully fit then bring him in for Hobbs. I wouldn't put Oakley anywhere near the team. I would also keep Dyer on the bench and bring him on with 20 minutes to go because he really does look dangerous like that!
Haydos Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Not controversial, just silly. Why would you put King up front? Just because he can score goals??? Just what I was going to say, actually compared him to scholes as well when talking to a mate about who his equivalent is Abe Gally - Wellens - Dyer King Howard - Waghorn How can you adjust the alignment so your line ups come out with players in the right place?
easilee Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 I think they are 6 without loss so it will be tougher than their position suggests. If we come out firing, 0-2 city. Their home record at the mo is poor. If they've done their homework on us 1-1.
Corky Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Sven will try and keep it similar to last week, the midfield worked well in the Derby match and also at Barnsley, I can't see Oakley walking straight back into the starting eleven.
Heskey2011 Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Totally agree - get Lloyd in. Seems a bit strange us having a side you can get excited about! Do you think you'd want Dyer to start is Vassell's goal that was given offside against Derby was given?
Drift Posted 20 November 2010 Posted 20 November 2010 Squad from Stringer: Weale, naughton, davies, hobbs, cunningham, abe, king, wellens, gallagher, vassell, howard. Subs: logan, morrison, oakley, dyer, fryatt, waghorn, berner.

That's why he scores goals i'm not saying it's his best position, but just that compared to our strikers at least he can pick his spot - rather than the wide, over and at the keeper that our strikers manage. in that formation he could still make the same runs
