Sorry, but you are wrong, The accusative (or object case) for the sentence demands a "me" not an "I". If you take out the concept of "my team" you can't say "that makes I determined to...".

Zingari Posted 18 December 2010 Posted 18 December 2010 I fvcking love you. not wanting to be pedantic , but shouldn't that be "I love fvcking you " anyway ; I'm not totally against the human rights bill , but would welcome a British bill of rights too. The only problem i have is the massive scope for interpretation of such bills . For instance the judges claim that he cannot be deported because he has "a right to a family life" and quite so . But if someone is a proven criminal, then locking them away in a prison cell is taking away that right , just as much as deportation , so there can never be a total right to family life . Surely all that needs to happen, is to place amendments on the bill to over ride one's rights if the person acts illegally , thereby allowing the state to take away rights if they conflict with normal procedure ( eg I'm fairly sure that if the state were at war and conscription needed to apply , the human rights act would cease to act for anyone being sent away to fight and die in a foreign field )

Tragic? Yes. Cause for racial outrage? No. Only an idiot would would use this as fuel for the BNP/EDL bonfire and there's no idiots in the BNP or EDL - are there?

In the Immigration system, when considering Art. 8 Human Rights arguments, it isn't just the rights of the applicant/appellant; the rights of the family are also taken into consideration, in this case, the bloke's wife and children. For the record, they are British citizens, so can't be deported. Before spouting racist diatribe, at least have the decency to find out what matters are taken into consideration before commenting.
