Foxhateram Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Leeds will win. Difficult one to call but i think we will win, just! LCFC 2 VS 1 Leeds Dyer & King for us and Gradel for them. Will be a difficult game, I have been following leeds this season and have seen a few of their games on the tellybox. Gradel looks in real good form at the minute and will be one to watch out for.
Guest ttfn Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 2-1 to Leicester. Kirkland Naughton Davies Vitor CunninghamWellens AbeGallagher King DyerVassell This is the team assuming none of the above are injured Hobbs in for any of the injured centre-backs. Waghorn in for Gallagher if he's injured. There is no justification for the inclusion of Gallagher. He's been in terrible form for a month or more.
Shrenchel Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Not confident at all to be honest, think they'll do us pretty easy. Probably our best hope is that when we're 2-0 down, heading for 19th in the table and some of our fans inevitably start singing the don't give a fvck, we're going up song we nicked off Leeds, that the collective force of 3,000 yorkshiremen pissing themselves laughing will waterlog the pitch.
ousefox Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but am i right in thinking that this could be the last game at 'The Walkers'? I'm sure it was January when the name was meant to change.... Anyway, desperate for a win against Leeds, as ever. Leeds fans talk so much shit..can't stand them.
Karljohn Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 I think we'll smash them 3-0 maybe 3-1....then follow it by losing at Millwall.
Ashley Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 •Leicester are unbeaten in 6 at home in the league- winning 4 including the last 2, keeping 3 clean sheets in the process •We've already lost twice to Leicester this season •We've never won at Walkers Stadium •We've not beaten Leicester away since March 2002 •Since our last away victory against Leicester, we've only won once in 12 meetings •Since relegation from the top flight in 2004, we've only beaten Leicester once in 10 meetings at home in December 2005 •At the Walkers Stadium, in 5 visits we have drawn 2 and lost 3 •We've failed to keep a clean sheet at Walkers Stadium in those 5 visits •We've only scored 2 in those 5 games (Robbie Blake scored both) at Walkers Stadium, conceding 9. Never scored more than one in a single fixture

Scow Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Their position in the table only shows you how poor this league is. We completely outplayed them in the league game and made them look the average and ordinary team that they are. There really isn't much difference between most teams in the Championship - nowt to fear if we play the football that we're capable of.
ibbosuk Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Conceding to many goals, sometimes players look good on paper, but just don't gel. I would send Davis back to Villa and go for a steve Walsh Gerry Taggart kind of centre half. I would try for the other Villa Centre half Richard Dunne 3M, He would fit in much better than Curtis Davis. I think we should try a bid of 3.25M for Heskey (Over the top bid might get rewards ) and Get Naughton in for 2M if possible. Midfield I would love to see Mark Davies back, but he now seems to be a regular in the Bolton side, so slim to none on that one. I think Sven might suprise use with a couple of continental players,we need a new goalkeeper, I would like to see a bid for the Palace keeper Julian Speroni 0.5 M. If we got that lot, I would certainly back us for an automatic spot this season. .......................Oh Leed will be a draw.

Chairman of the Bored Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Bring back Berner and make my Christmas (well, Boxing Day). Score draw.
Scow Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 Being a bit of a pessimist I'd make you aware that even though all that bodes well for us, those records will be broken at some point.. We always seem to be the team to break records...for the opposition. Ipswich lost 6 on the bounce, but we seemed to help them out, despite the farcical conditions.
Corky Posted 22 December 2010 Posted 22 December 2010 We're in great form at home, they're in great form away. I think it'll be 2-2.

Or is this your way of convincing yourself, and others, we'll actually win? filling people up with a slim optimism with these useless pointers from WACCOE. You should be ashamed. Leeds to win and Gradel to score. Jizz. in. my. pants.

It's a totally different team and formation to what we played against you at ER and coincedently against Cardiff and Preston at home and Barnsley away Lets see how ordinary we look on boxing day because 9 teams before you thought the same, they came back to earth with a bump. Guess what will happen to you ?

Guess what will happen to you ? Totally different team and formation? Have you all of a sudden transformed into a total footballing outfit? You started 4-4-2 against us, then changed to 4-3-3/4-5-1 after 30 minutes. I'm not expecting to see a fluent and slick Leeds side - probably more of the same direct football down the channels and off Becchio's head.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 I think we'll do them 3-1. King's due a goal
TheUltimateWinner Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 Kirkland Naughton Vitor Davies Cunningham Abe Wellens King Vasell Waghorn Dyer Subs: Weale, Howard, Fryatt, Hobbs, Oakley, Gallagher, N'Guessan (I Think hes back from loan)
YEP Digital Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 Check out Boot Room TV, a football preview programme which looks ahead to the Boxing Day clash with Leeds United. Click on the link to watch the show: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/leedsunited/BOOT-ROOM-TV-Leicester-City.6669620.jp
RowlattsFox Posted 23 December 2010 Posted 23 December 2010 I'm going for 2-2 draw, with a late equaliser for one team then we'll win at Millwall.
