Firstly, not bringing up old threads or any club speculation linking us.

Mr D B has released a statement informing he is looking for a European club to return to during his season break. He has stated it WILL NOT be Premier Club.

He wants to have regular play and ensure his fitness to allow for possible England call up.

So he is looking for Spain or Italy again then. Maybe the bundesliga would be good, he can try and find out why the Germans always seem to do well at tournaments when they are pretty shit for the 2 years in-between.

The statement also mentions it will not be AC Millan as it is to late to be included within their rostand list.

You're wrong.

It says on Sky Sports that he will not be going to a Premier League OTHER than Man Utd.

I am not wrong. He said he will not play for a Premier League club during this loan. He then went on to say, he would not rule out a return one day to the Premier League although the only club he would come back for is Man Utd.

David Beckham has confirmed he is eyeing a winter loan move to a European club to try and regain his England place.

The veteran has not played for the Three Lions since suffering a torn Achilles tendon in March which kept him out of the World Cup, with Fabio Capello then appearing to call time on his international career.

He has since made a successful return for the Los Angles Galaxy and would like to play in Europe once more before the Major League Soccer season starts again in March.

But he confirmed he will not be returning to AC Milan, where he has spent the last two winters on loan.

Not possible

The 35-year-old said: "I won't be going back to AC Milan this time because is not possible to go onto the roster for such a short length of time.

"But I will be going back somewhere as I want to keep myself fit and keep myself in with a chance of getting called up for England again.

"To do that, I have to be somewhere so fingers crossed I can sort something out."

Beckham has also ruled out playing for any Premier League clubs apart from Manchester United.

He added: "I have always missed playing in the Premier League since I left it almost eight years ago.

"It is a great league and one of the most competitive in the world. Maybe one day I will come back here but I have always said that it will only be for Manchester United. I am not holding my breath on that one, but we will have to wait and see.

"But definitely not Preston (where he played on loan as a teenager) - it's too cold up there!"

Still capable

Beckham added he still feels he has a lot to give to the game and can continue at the highest level for at least two more seasons.

"My body feels great after my injury," he said. "I always said I needed to get that back into order and keep my fitness and we will see.

"I still feel that I am starting a new chapter, to be honest. I still feel that I am playing well and playing on and can still do it. I have not finished yet.

"I wake up every day and want to achieve something. I have to be a good role model for my children and other children out there.

"I love the game and am not done with playing the game yet. I might be 35 years old but I still feel that I can play at the top level for another couple of years. Hopefully, I can do that."

He definitely won't come to us as Sven would be all over Victoria in a matter of minutes or vice versa.

It does tickle me seeing us in the same list as Barca, Roma et al.
