broughtonblue Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 I love to go out for an all you can eat buffet/meal, but my experience of nice places is limited, Dine India, countesthorpe Little India, arnesby Real china, highcross Terracota, town Any of you know of the best places, food quality and price are obviously a factor?
Alexikokopops Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm http://www.rodiziorico.com/
AoWW Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 I know it's one you've already mentioned, but I have to agree... Terracotta is lovely.
James. Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm http://www.rodiziorico.com/ That looks well good. And there's one in Islington. BOOM.
Webbo Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 Feast India on the Melton Road is decent for the money.
Unit Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 There's this indian one down near the haymarket, opposite that comic book shop that nobody's ever been in that is amazing, Lahore Karai or something, dead nice food but a bit dingy inside. You used to be able to take your own booze in aswell but I think they've stopped that.

Unit Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 it doesn't sound too popular I meant the comic shop
MikeyT Posted 30 December 2010 Posted 30 December 2010 There's a Chinese place in town, on the same road as HMV it's up a bit further on the right hand side, i forget the name but they do a buffet lunch for £4.99 all you can eat. Went there today and it's quite nice.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 Thought The Real China was gash tbh, and not just because I'm a Terracotta man. The tables feel like they're piled on top of each other they're that close together, no room to breathe, let alone move. Not a fan.
fox123 Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 Food shouldn't be about all you can eat, it should be about the quality you eat. All you can eat are good for large party's but impressing they are not. Girls love sophistication rather than a boozy night out.
Part Of The Crowd Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 They don't appreciate it if you go back the next day to carry on.

Babylon Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 Am I the only one to hate Terracota? Full of fat chavs with 7 fat chav children each running amok.
Narborough_fox Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 Defo terrocata or Dine India for me, both very nice and quite reasonably priced.
Wymsey Posted 31 December 2010 Posted 31 December 2010 I tend to go to The Laguna on Narborough Road sometimes on a Sat/Sun. Always been there and think the food is great and the service and atmosphere is spot on
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 January 2011 Posted 2 January 2011 Girls love sophistication rather than a boozy night out. You're going out with the wrong girls.
Alexikokopops Posted 4 January 2011 Posted 4 January 2011 That looks well good. And there's one in Islington. BOOM. It's a beauty. Are you in Islington now? I've been to that one a couple of times, it's lovely. Edit: Nope, just seen you're in Hackney!

blue blood Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I agree, all you can eat restaurants are over plated (i will get my coat) Haveli in town it's an Indian resteraunt, the best bit is booze is included in the £15 price

Yeah am in Hackney but am next to Regents Canal so just a nice little walk away from Angel. In fact we've decided to try out that restaurant on Sunday. Whereabouts in Islington are you?
