Muzzy Coming Back.

Get your facts right before you start ranting and raving about one of the better players we have had at the club

Did Muzzy Izzet, or did Muzzy Izzet not, leave the club upon our second relegation from the Premier League?

Hardly a rant and rave pal, simply an opinion that I wouldn't want him back. Stick your smartness on the subject itself. Do you want Izzet back in todays squad, and if yay or nay, what would be your reason?

Well I must admit that when I first put this post out I didnt think it would come to this !. Anyway this is why there are message boards, Its all about opinions and what people percieve, if it didnt , it would be a very boring world.....Happy new year to everyone. :scarf:

Happy new year buddy. Here's to us being unbeaten so far in 2011!

If Izzet comes back as a player I will upload a video on this thread of me singing a Katy Perry song while dressed as a woman.

You've been waiting for an excuse to show that bad boy off since we filmed it, to be honest.

Foxestalk is for pre-pubesnt teenagers and virgins.

P.S. I can't see the thread on Foxes talk anymore but what a bunch of tossers they must be having to validate threads they don't agree could be true. What does it matter it's a message board ????

You really are talking a load of shit.

Yes he did leave the club but do you not remember him staying following the first relegation?

He was on a crazy wage due to Taylor, and there is now way we could have paid that wage for a second time in the Championship. Wages like that are a reason we went into admin.

No one could moan about him wanting to have another shot at Premier football following 8 years with the club.

I don't have any kind of complex about either board, you could of course have asked Webbo the same.

I use both boards but for different reasons.

Why would Webbo have any kind of complex? I think he was just genuinely showing an interest in BR as someone who doesn't post there.

Jesus.

I look on BR quite alot and it does seem to have a hell of alot of threads and not many replies. It seems to be alot more close nit and more of a friends forum than a global forum like FT.

He won't be coming back in any capacity, what a load of rubbish! He's been out of the game for 5 years, he's 36 years old.

If we're getting an Izzet it's more likely to be his brother.

Anyway, I don't want Izzet back because he walked away when we got relegated from the Premier League and Championship football 'wasn't good enough' for him. Do one Mustafa.

Cock.

bjblyth seems a bit of a bellend.

Muzzy would be a good backup for the King, and a fooking great voice in his ear passing on his experience.

And 36 isn't too old, I remember watching a stiffs game and Garry Parker didnt move 10 yards either side of the halfway line but every single pass was pinpoint to a blue shirt, admittedly, Parker was probably a better passer of the ball than Muzzy, be he could still be invaluable to City passing his experience on to the younger midfielders.

And I have a feeling he (Muzzy) could still pull the strings from the centre of the park if King was tired.

Bring on the haters with "we could by younger players, he's past it, his legs have gone" but the simple fact is, we haven't got a creative playmaker in the squad, and you don't need the legs of Usain Bolt to pull the strings and spray the ball wide starting attacking moves.

Also, AFC, that Glee bird you posted isn't wearing matching underwear, poor form on her part.

First post is a bit of an essay, time to wait for the doom and gloom brigade to pass judgement from their armchairs, cheers.

Walshy was tempted into a comeback, albeit with Cov rather than us. It lasted all of TWO games..

I know our setpieces have been poor this season, but bringing Muzzy back isn't the answer. :(

Don't think i'd want him back really, he retired 5 years ago due to injury.

Also, it'd be like Dickov, when he returned for a second spell he just wasn't what he was, and it sort of ruined my memories of him. He should let us remember him as the best player of an era, not come back for sentimental reasons, and probably underperform and get slated by people on here.

Thanks, but no thanks this time Muz.

Cheers for the mention.

It's not just the fact he's 36, it's the fact that he's been out of the game for years. If I remember correctly he retired due to a recurring knee injury.

A player who is no longer a player, due to injury should not be considered for a team with Premier League ambition, simples.
