cc_star Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 You are posting negative and mildly irritiating posts in just about every thread I look in at the moment, so you should expect to get some pushback. We have some of the most professional and competent looking management we have had in a decade and all you seem to do is whinge about them. Nothing negative or whinging, just pretty factual state of affairs that we risked losing him altogether like QPR have Walker.
cc_star Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 This is great news that he can play on sunday! Looks alot more likely we'll be signing him now if this has been agreed Awesome news, great player for us and very important for Sunday
Guest BlueBrett Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Good News. He'll score on sunday now and do his flip for ESPN. Kolarov wont be able to handle his pace! 20-1 Anytime scorer! I'm all over it. To the tune of 3quid.
Bilbo Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 I hope this means signing him soon is on the cards!
Jon the Hat Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Nothing negative or whinging, just pretty factual state of affairs that we risked losing him altogether like QPR have Walker. No, you said the club had exposed themselves to that risk by not sealing a deal before the transfer window, which is negative to the club, and complete nonsense as it was clearly out of their hands. You aren't very good at taking criticism are you? Sometimes it is best to just admit you wrote bullshit and move on.

It's in every ruddy thread and I have to agree Jon, has slowly been doing my box for the past week. I like opinion, I like funny, I like strong opinion, I even am drawn toward the uncompromising and the delusional, (you know who you are) I welcome new threads but the same drab, subjectively argumentative, rhetorical narrative in every contribution to every thread is yes becoming, 'mildly irritating'. There, I said it. +1 Jon the Hat.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Jack has spoken the most sense in this thread than any hes posted in before. Naughton will sign permo

Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Good news if its definitely true. He'll have to be on his game though, if he plays so far forward on Sunday liek he usually do we'll get slaughtered down that side.

Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 By James "One Dimensional Workhorse" Milner? Behave. No, by Adam 'Capitalises On Out Of Position Full Backs' Johnson.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 I was thinking Johnson would play down their right so he could do his cutting in thing.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 No, by Adam 'Capitalises On Out Of Position Full Backs' Johnson. Adam Nice quick edit
nickelbyfox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Season long loan according to Stringer, tad disappointing
Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 I was thinking Johnson would play down their right so he could do his cutting in thing. Fair play, maybe Adam 'Goes To Town On Ageing Left Backs' Johnson will have fun against Berner then Who'll play on the left if he lines up on the right? Brain isn't working right now Adam Nice quick edit , how did you catch that Changed it as soon as i'd hit post! Bah.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Fair play, maybe Adam 'Goes To Town On Ageing Left Backs' Johnson will have fun against Berner then They quite often switch over a few times in a match anyway so you may well have been right first time.
Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Anyhooooo, Stringer's just confirmed a season long loan
Leicester_Loyal Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 I spent a minute thinking who Andy Johnson was!
Wymsey Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Anyhooooo, Stringer's just confirmed a season long loan But i presume he can't play still on Sunday right?
Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 This is annoyingly complicated I have no idea. Tempted to go out on a whim and say he can. The only reason they would have prevented him from playing would to be preserve his cup availability if they had interest from other clubs. He's staying for the rest of the season, ergo there shouldn't be an issue with playing on sunday?
Nick Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Anyhooooo, Stringer's just confirmed a season long loan Result.
Walshy5 Posted 7 January 2011 Author Posted 7 January 2011 Why couldnt we get a permanent deal then? does this mean spurs dont want to sell.
Haydos Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Why couldnt we get a permanent deal then? does this mean spurs dont want to sell. Personally i'm not reading into it too much. I'm not sure of the formalities but maybe another 6 month loan was the only option that enables him to play and allows for negotiations for a permanent deal to be discussed after the match. Or maybe we have some kind of first option deal come the summer. That's what i'm hoping anyway
