Jon the Hat Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 This is quite a sorry saga The people in the know, would have known his loan agreements was up, I fail to understand why an extension/permanent deal/return to his club wasn't in place before his deal ended Even if it does turn out in our favour with Naughton completing before deadline for Sunday's game, at the very least its been unsettling Our defence has been unsettled enough by Morrison's departure and Bamba's arrival, we've got a big game with the potential for a thrashing and the whole situation is up in the air with what seems like sub-standard players having to appear against the 2nd best side in the country. ***edit*** As soon as I say this, Stringer pipes up with news expected soon, probably positive. http://twitter.com/#!/IanStringerBBC/status/23378241054052353 Maybe because Spurs did not want to talk to us outside the transfer window? They are not there to do us a favour, they are after the best deal for their club, which clearly would mean trading in the transfer window to ensure other interested parties can get involved. Do you even think before you start whingeing?
Babylon Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Says the man having a go at the man having a go at Stringer I wasn't having a go, just saying he hadn't really said anything concrete. I saw people posting on here yesterday saying "Stringer says it's a done deal", when he'd said nothing of the sort. It's all chinese whispers!!

Do you even think before you start whingeing? Was about to say the same, many clubs don't want to know until the time as they don't know their own situations. As Martinez at Wigan said about Cleverly, he spoke to AF about him earlier in the season and he said they would speak about Cleverly again in January, so it's not just us.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Believe me, you don't want to go there. LA is massively overrated. As for California, well that's a different story. I will second that ,you would probably find a bucket load of down and outs on Venice beach who would swop you in coleorton.
iBleedLeicesterColours Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 PM your address, or have a little dabble down kent street heard its supposed to be an interesting experience. I went purely for the laugh, got lost in St Matthews, also an experience :\

I appreciate what you're saying, but I think he should avoid hinting as it could lead to even more disappointment! Also, I was not one of those thinking it was a done deal. I'm way too pessimistic for that. It's why I hate these little hints that offer no suggestion on whether he's posting things with knowledge or pure gut instinct!

Yet again someone on here with x number of thousand posts can't make a point in a reply without being rude Even so with a potential 5:30 deadline fast approaching its hardly the best preparation for this weekend's extravaganza, and letting Morrison go before this was signed, sealed & delivered is probably not ideal just case there's a hitch.

You think that's rude? Crikey, you wait until Daggers takes a disliking to something you say.
wurmer Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Loan agreement apparently, according to Stringer. http://twitter.com/ianstringerbbc

You are posting negative and mildly irritiating posts in just about every thread I look in at the moment, so you should expect to get some pushback. We have some of the most professional and competent looking management we have had in a decade and all you seem to do is whinge about them.
Bert Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Lead to believe it's been agreed as a loan initially so he can play sunday then sign him after that. Could be wrong mind, that's Just what i'm hearing.

Could be wrong mind, that's Just what i'm hearing. Has to be that, surely? Doubt they'd let him play if nothing permanent was agreed between the two sides. Great news anyway.

harpendenfox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 I think Sven would like the concise nature of twitter. Rather nice, I think. Good way to connect with Liz Hurley too. Rather nice.
Tommeh Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 Praying we sign him for good. Got bees and honey riding on this with a Yid who reckons we have "no chance"
MrSpaM Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 This is great news that he can play on sunday! Looks alot more likely we'll be signing him now if this has been agreed

Joe. Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 http://www.leicester...le.asp?a=227367 For the record, before anybody says, I've heard from somebody else reliable what Bert said.
Jon the Hat Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 So now he plays out of his skin on Sunday, and someone in the Prem puts in a cheeky bid on Monday and we lose him....
dpjfox Posted 7 January 2011 Posted 7 January 2011 dont think we had time to do permanent in time to be eligible for sunday(today lunchtime deadline) therefore im guessing weve extended the loan just so he can play on sunday , id get him to sign precontract prior to game
