Baby Elvis Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Hey fellow foxes! Seeing matty score for hull was rather sad i suppose was always used to him scoring them for us Any inputs please?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 yes i agree. We have to trust SGE :sge: however i think selling do do do do Matty FRYATT do do do do Matty FRYATT maybe a mistake in the end - lets be honest he will score a sh*t load for Hull - Shame!!
Baby Elvis Posted 5 January 2011 Author Posted 5 January 2011 Thank god a few fans feel the same! But with better players set to join who knows eyyy
whitlock Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Anyone would think Fryatt was some messiah... yes he scored important goals but he also missed a shed load of sitters and scuppered goal scoring chances with his greedyness. If we want promotion we need bettter than Fryatt. I'd happily take Vassel over Fryatt any day of the week.
Baby Elvis Posted 5 January 2011 Author Posted 5 January 2011 Intresting comment! Just seems very weird to see him play in other colours and he did more running in that goal than for us this year
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 5 January 2011 Posted 5 January 2011 Dont think FRYATT was a messiah or owt like that but i will miss him at CITY even if he did miss a lot of chances he also scored alot - around 62 i think for Leicester?
Baby Elvis Posted 6 January 2011 Author Posted 6 January 2011 WIKI job mate Matty was a league 1 messsiah but for hull no doubt about it shit loads of tap ins and one v ones!
Jimmy Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Dont think FRYATT was a messiah or owt like that but i will miss him at CITY even if he did miss a lot of chances he also scored alot - around 62 i think for Leicester? why do you feel the to shout Fryatt & City every time you post?and that 62 was in almost 5 years including a season where he scored 7 so his strike rate above league 1 for us was shocking, but because we had a chant for him that actually got going he was worshipped he is an average striker
thybluefox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Stop WITH the CAPITALISM, it makes you look like a DICK. It was odd seeing him in different colours but I'm glad he's gone. There was no way this club could move forward with him in the squad.
broughtonblue Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 If we don't get anyone in this jan I think we will miss him. Best of luck to him though, he never came put in public and moaned when he didn't get a decent run in the team.
Stevosevic Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 I couldn't give a shit about Matty 'i need to 8 chances to score a goal' Fryatt. He's in the past, has a poor attitude and some people are forgetting how shit he has been for us at times. If i had time to right down all those clear cut important chances he missed for us i would be here all night. Scored a few goals in League 1, slowed down when he got his new contract and is over weight, good riddance.
stivesfox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Who ever started this post call radio Leicester could do with a laugh!! I miss Matty so much I tried to Slit my wrists I couldn't cope, his departure leaving us relegation fodder I blame Eriksson losing Matty was like barca losing messi!!! Now he has gone the clubs doomed! I am going to start a protest bring back Matty he is Leicester City!!!
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 so sorry for using capitals and upsetting you all
Jimmy Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 If we don't get anyone in this jan I think we will miss him. Best of luck to him though, he never came put in public and moaned when he didn't get a decent run in the team. no just just sulked when he actually got on the pitch instead
cc_star Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Yeah, he's a good player who made intelligent runs... As is usually the case world+dog will say he's shit now he's gone though Exactly the same people who think Vassell is the messiah despite him too needing 8 chances to score a goal. The one I worry most about is Waghorn, hope he doesn't fall to a similar fate, he's good now and has the potential to the better but he needs time on the pitch, the FA Cup is the perfect time to give him a full run out, and if he holds his own against a miserly defence he deserves to be in contention to be in the next league game.
Jon Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Loving these quotes from Pearson upon signing Fryatt: "Matty's goalscoring record is pretty good," Pearson told the club's official website... "He will give us a slightly different dimension and along with Jay Simpson, who has been in quite good form of late, that gives us some good options." "We've also got Cameron Stewart, who has been playing through the middle in recent games, Nick Barmby, Mark Cullen and Richard Garcia when he's fit." So, not exactly blown away then, eh Nigel!??? His scoring is only 'pretty good'. The dimension he apparantly adds is only 'slightly' different from the existing one, and he'll be 6th choice sytriker behind Cameron Stewart played out of position, a 54 year old Nicky Barmby who hasnt been a striker since 1991, Jay Simpson who is only described as 'quite good', Mark Cullen who even Mark Cullen hasnt heard of, and a half fit Richard Garcia..... Nigel Pearson - better manager than salesman I'm guessing!!!....
stivesfox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 He's gone get over it scored on his debut well done! Sold for the right reasons frankly if we get 3 points every Saturday he can score a hatrick everyweek don't care about Fryatt,Hull or what fryatts doing he is gone picked up good money it's about Leicester city not obsession of a player who admitted he wanted out!!
MrSpaM Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Judging by the bbc website interview with him he was pretty annoyed he couldnt play against us when Hull signed him Don't get me wrong i thought he did a good job for us, but he's a Hull player now so people should just forget about it.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 This guys capital letter abuse is pissing me off. [umm so sorry for pissing you off - although why do you get bothered by such trivial things?]
Daggers Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 This place is becoming swamped by geniuses. Genii? Geniorum? Whatever - they're all fvcking bright.
B52 Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Yeah, he's a good player who made intelligent runs... As is usually the case world+dog will say he's shit now he's gone though Exactly the same people who think Vassell is the messiah despite him too needing 8 chances to score a goal. In the PL Vassell maybe score 1 in 8 but in the this legaue.... are you joking or..?? Has Vassell got 24 chances to score a goal?
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 6 January 2011 Posted 6 January 2011 Stop WITH the CAPITALISM, it makes you look like a DICK. It was odd seeing him in different colours but I'm glad he's gone. There was no way this club could move forward with him in the squad. [again another apology to another fan easily annoyed by me sometimes using capital letters on a keyboard - umm ]
