One Arm Babba Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 Thoughts? Roberto Mancini's Son on Trial???
Jimmy Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 sounds like a hot prospect and I'd trust Sven if I was him after seeing what he did for his own dad
Jimmy Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 sounds like some april fools! why? clubs take young players on trial all the time, obviously they aren't always the son of a former player of both manager and the club on separate occasions
LCFCmatt Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I bet we dont sign him and get some other terrible striker like BEDNAR!!! why, sven, why?!
shen Posted 16 January 2011 Posted 16 January 2011 I bet we dont sign him and get some other terrible striker like BEDNAR!!! why, sven, why?! Oh can it Some will never be happy, not even when he secures a shock transfer in getting Yakubu here, who scores on his debut as well.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 This third round cup tie has turned out to be a right love in between our two clubs - I hope these rummoured deals involve us throwing tuesday nights game?
Guest Mee-9 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Doesn't even say how old he is. Could be about 8. I'd put money on him being better than Bednar aswell.

Leicester_Loyal Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Possible favour to Mancini Snr for giving us SWP, Shay Given or Michael Johnson.
LCFCmatt Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Possible favour to Mancini Snr for giving us SWP, Shay Given or Michael Johnson. For giving us SWP, Shay Givem AND Michael Johnson
drc Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 he was playing with the youth team at Man City for a while when Sven was in charge. EDIT, Nah I think it was Robs other son Filippo.
sdb Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 why? clubs take young players on trial all the time, obviously they aren't always the son of a former player of both manager and the club on separate occasions not becasue we've taken a player on loan. because it's a player no-one has ever heard of, with no comment to make. he has no age, and no club. no of us had heard anything previously. it all seems really weird., that;s all
Nick Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 he was playing with the youth team at Man City for a while when Sven was in charge. EDIT, Nah I think it was Robs other son Filippo. I thought he took both sons to Man City? Andreas was released by Bologna last year though I thought and went to Manc City to play under his old man. We'll end up taking this kid for development wether he is any good or not. Sounds fair enough to me! N.
artursteppe Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 not becasue we've taken a player on loan. because it's a player no-one has ever heard of, with no comment to make. he has no age, and no club. no of us had heard anything previously. it all seems really weird., that;s all 'Because it's a player no-one has ever heard of'????? Consider this - there was a time when no-one had ever heard of Lionel Messi. That did not mean he would never be a great player. Look why don't we wait until every player is highly regarded, well known and very expensive instead of bringing young players through our club development, would that make you happier?
lee(lcfc) Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11712_6667015,00.html good thinking sven use him as a ransom for tomorrow night (didnt see this topic)
muzzy1981 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 I bet we dont sign him and get some other terrible striker like BEDNAR!!! why, sven, why?! Bednar was sent packing and we have bought Yakubu a premiership standard striker who scored on his debut. Keep up!!

Look why don't we wait until every player is highly regarded, well known and very expensive instead of bringing young players through our club development, would that make you happier? Get a grip. In the world of the net, Football manager, FIFA, etc, etc, I'd have expected people to have heard of Roberto Mancini's son if he's any good. I don't recall saying anything about his ability beforehand. Can you point me towards it?
DB11 Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 I'd sign him in return for a couple of decent players from Roberto
LCFCmatt Posted 17 January 2011 Posted 17 January 2011 Bednar was sent packing and we have bought Yakubu a premiership standard striker who scored on his debut. Keep up!! I mean sven may make a signing like bednar, cos he hasnt made perfect signings everytime, has he? Yakubu was a one off miracle signing, and we are more likely to sign some terrible players. You nazi
