Millwall (H) Pre-match

If Vitor was fit, i would prefer him to Hobbs. Hobbs made a couple of errors on Tuesday that proved costly.

He makes errors now and again but so does Vitor. When I've seen Vitor he's shown little of knowing how to mark and positioning in general. Good on the ball but like Cunningham I think that overshadows his deficiencies as a defender.

We can't keep changing the side because players are making one or two mistakes, I think we need to give the Hobbs-Bamba partnership a chance.

Interesting read on the Millwall forum

lol

Millwall are of course an entirely interesting and massively successful famous club.

Also, this:

I

know people say Coventry City are boring, but I'll stick up for them...they had Mad Jimmy Hill, played in & won the best FA Cup Final of the last 25 years, they have Phoenixes & an Elephant on their badge, they play in a half interesting new build ground and are always up for a bit of aggro. Always a good away day.

Obviously expectations are low in South London these days.

Millwall have big injury concerns for this match - apparently all four of their centre backs plus two of their Midfielders are injured. I can see the Yak fully exploiting this and scoring a couple.

Also for those of you who have left Dyer out of your team selection after the way he played on Tuesday what are you smoking?

I would reitterate that we should try 4-4-2 for this game. It seems the ideal time, but the obvious question is who to drop from midfield...

Dyer surely must be a starter after the way he played against Man City.

I would also give more time to the Hobbs Bamba partnership. Maybe even try swapping them and trying Bamba on the left???

I would like to see this....

Weale

Naughton Hobbs Bamba Bruno

Dyer Abe Wellens Gallagher

Yak Vassell

Who would you drop out of centre mid?

They've just signed Darren Purse, who will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's game.

 i would expect this to be our starting line-up every week if no injury + suspensions get in our way.

From the Sky Sports preview sounds like Millwall have got a whole host of injury problems, mostly at the back. I'd hope we do pretty well tomorrow and bag a good amount of goals to try and sort our goal difference out.

I saw an actual fox near the station on my way home, and this is always a good omen, particularly when it's not a grim looking one with an eye missing and a gammy leg or something.

This one was handsome
