Dylan Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Berner Abe King Wellens Dyer Yakubu Gallagher Subs: Logan, Mee, Moussa, Oakley, Nguessan, Waghorn, Howard. Stick to our 4-3-3, same back 4 and midfield 3. And bring in the Yak for Howard. If Vassell is fit, I'd still only bench him. Dyer played well on Tuesday, and deserves a start. I'm not Gally's biggest fan, but I thought he was decent for the time he was on. If he's injured though, I'd start Moussa. I think we can win with our good home form. And Millwall have only won 1 of their last 7 away games. If we play like we did against Man City, it'll be no problem, but you never know with Leicester. Prediction: Leicester City 2-0 Millwall (Yakubu, King)
Adster Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Absolute perfect selection, reckon we'll be a force with this selection. Plus having a strong bench helps a lot too. The only thing i would change, no offence to Dyer, but i still think he'd be better as an impact sub compared to Vassell, just personal opinion. In :sge: we trust.
cc_star Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Has Sven hinted that Vassell is back? He seemed to when talking about Waghorn.... Howard ain't even worth his place on the bench for me. Also, Berner could probably do with a rest Weale Naughton - Bamba - Hobbs - Mee Abe - Wellens - King Gallagher - Yakubu - Dyer Subs: Logan, Berner, Moussa, Oakley, Moreno, Waghorn, Vassell
Howard9 Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Berner Gallagher King Wellens Dyer Vassell Yakubu I know it seems like this isnt going to happen but id love to see a 4-4-2 especially with vassell and yakubu upfront i think we would be a almighty force
Fox1651 Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Mee Abe King Wellens Gallagher / Moussa** Yakubu Dyer / Vassell** Subs Howard Waghorn Berner Logan Moreno Vassell** Moussa**
FuriousFox46 Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Leicester 3-0 Millwall Slighty Optimistic but they deserve a good thrashing for being the one of the teams who beat us in League 1.
Tommy G Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I'd like to see a front 3 of yakubu waghorn and vassell.
zubi Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I hope im not reading too much in to this. But Sven wont let Waghorn go out on loan until Vassell is back from injury, I hope Vassels not out for a long time! saying that... I hope Waghorn still doesnt go http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/d/derby_county/9365202.stm
Kitchandro Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I'd pick the team that faced Preston but for injuries. If Gally is injured then I'd rather Waggy on the left than Vassell.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Mee Abe Wellens King Gallagher Yakubu Dyer
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bamba Mee Abe Wellens King Gallagher Yakubu Dyer Subs Vassell (if fit) Mooose Logan Howard Waggy Berner Moreno
Tewy5 Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Good win for the mighty city against millwall. The yak on score sheet again. Push on now city
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Same team that played vs PNE if possible. The will be goals. 3-1, Yakubu x2 and Gallagher.
Jakemoore Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Weale Naughton Hobbs Bambzzz Berner Abe Wellens King Gallagher Vassell THE YAK (feed him) Bench: Logan, Mee, Nielson, oakley, Dyer, Waghorn, Moussa. I know it might seem very harsh dropping Dyer after his mid week wonder game, but for me, one good game doesn't make up for 3 or 4 games where Dyer should have scored. I like what Dyer brings to the team, he scares defenders and can unlock defences, but technically he isn't good enough for me and lacks a finess or a good delivery and even his passing is worrying but I'd still play him off the bench because he'd run circles around tired defenders Living in South East London, we have to win this otherwise I'm gonna get slaughtered, I know so many Millwall fans. We should win at home, I'm saying 2-0 Yakubu and Vassell.
ajthefox Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 Same 11 from Preston, possibly start Waggy instead of Dyer. Only reason I say that is that it gives Dyer a rest after running his socks off yesterday and gives Waggy more of a chance then the last 10 minutes of the match. We desperately need to get a run of wins going.
shailen Posted 19 January 2011 Posted 19 January 2011 I reckon we go 442 Weale Naughton Bamba Hobbs Berner Dyer Abe King Gally/Moussa Waghorn Yakubu Subs: Logan Oakley Wellens Howard Neilson Moussa Moreno Only reason i wouldnt play wellens is to rest him. Last game I can remember him not playing was pompey when we got smashed for 6
Corky Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Same team who started at Preston. This will be tough as Millwall are difficult to beat and in good form, but at home currently I fancy us. 2-1- Yak and Lloyd.
Haydos Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Only reason i wouldnt play wellens is to rest him. Last game I can remember him not playing was pompey when we got smashed for 6 He was taken off early as a 'rest' at Man City so I assume the intention is to play him against Mill. Weale Naughton Bamba Hobbs MeeAbeKing-----------WellensDyer -------------------------GallagherYakubu Logan Berner Oakley Moussa Waghorn Vassell (if fit) Howard/Moreno
Wymsey Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 If Vitor was fit, i would prefer him to Hobbs. Hobbs made a couple of errors on Tuesday that proved costly.
lestajigs Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Big game, hope the atmosphere's good, can't see millwall bringing many as I think they have one off the shitest set off fans in the league, can't seeing them bringing more than 1000 to be honest. Going fir 3.1 win
Fox92 Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Really? I think they'll bring alot. There support is better than the likes of S****horpe etc Anyway, going for a 4-2 win. Yakubu hat trick
lestajigs Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Really? I think they'll bring alot. There support is better than the likes of S****horpe etc Anyway, going for a 4-2 win.
