wayne76 Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 getting sick of hearing these birmingham rumours the club needs to get wellens on a long term contract! i would be supprised to see him go and if he does it will be for financial reasons on his part (dont blame him) but as raised in another thread we wont get a replacement of his standard cheap! come on top,sven lets keep this club going in the right direction and reward the players that have been here for the long term and gave it all to get the club where it is now!

Hopefully he's happy here and with what Sven's doing - he certainly seems to have fit in with Sven's team and my (and I suspect many others) player of the season so far.

The chance to work under a boss like Sven and have a crack at the PL is probably enough for him. Though, we'll probably bench/sell him if we go up, which is sad but true. He might end up at Wigan yet

Lot of players good for championship but next season must rebuild now...... Perhaps I wrong, I have not followed your club so long (just since Sven arrived) but looking on television against M.
