The People's Hero Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Not keen on the supercilious 'k'. It's cooler to have a supercilious 'c' like Franck Rolling.

Cheers, I meant a translation from the video though as he must have said lots that wasn't included in the write-up. It was a long old monologue.
edwbon Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 More digging. Not nice to be reminded of past failures - we all have them - but I wonder if Sven saw Norales at this particular match. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/internationals/7980392.stm
AmericanScott Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 I studied Espanol for a few years at college so i understood some bits of the interview. Basically saying he wants to help Leicester get to the Premier league and he'll wait for his oppurtunity to get into the first team and show what he's made of. Then goes on about keeping focused for Honduras national team.
Kingylcfc Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 seems as though we have a new man coming over... http://www.diez.hn/Ediciones/2011/01/23/Noticias/Erick-Norales-ya-vuela-a-Inglaterra#2 http://www.tiempo.hn/cronometromundialista/index.php/component/content/article/42-principales/11308-erick-norales-se-va-al-futbol-de-inglaterra.html
Jackirius Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 Surprised that there has been nothing in the English press, seems quite big news over there.
Liamlcfc1 Posted 23 January 2011 Posted 23 January 2011 current clubs OS Wearing a Spurs shirt wont go down with the fans well
marbelladave Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Used my (fairly decent) 'reading' Spanish to see what was being said, but it is all a bit vague. Comming to Leicester on loan seems to be the gist of it but there is also a subtext about training with us and fighting for a 'place', trial maybe? Any way the most important issues are not addressed, that is, does he speak English (possibly) and can he play on the left?

MPH Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Do we really need another defender ?? did you see Ben mee on saturday? seriously though, that lad just needs time. as for Morales..... its a very continental name and sounds very skillful... that alone could be p;art of Svens plan to intimidate the opposition with a team that sounds very skillfull and exotic... if we SOUND good surely thats half the battle won?
marbelladave Posted 24 January 2011 Posted 24 January 2011 Do we really need another defender ?? If he can play on the left, then most definitely... anyone know btw.....
