Mind you, we were sterling compared to the outdated, irrelevant, racist pricks that were the Millwall lot. Seriously, are we back in the 1970s? We were good after our goals though, gotta applaud at least some of the noise! I bet we really hurt their feelings.
Starkwell Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Agree, The Yak has given us that X factor up front that we have been missing for so long . good result just wish we had played less games but o well it is the way it is Yeah, but bare in mind, that teams are going to have to make up for their shortfall in games played - which will mean a lot of teams playing extra midweek games to catch up with us, which has to be good for us.

Since when do you play advantage for a clear foul which is a stone wall penalty..... then.... as if that wasnt enough, lets play go on but for another goal scoring opportunity 1 second later, to be denied by the clear hand ball off a defender....... so with all that, he gives corner. willy puller!

lcfc_jme Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Hmmm.. Interesting game in fairness. Going forward, we look unreal and look like we'll potentially score every time we attack. Defensively, we're shaky and afford too much respect to opposition players, as well as get left exposed by a leggy Bruno Berner and an often out of position and hesistant Kyle Naughton. Time and time again we stood off when we should've put a foot in and when players ran at us we were ridiculously vulnerable. That said, there were far more positives today than negatives. Millwall arrived on a long unbeaten run and hadn't lost in 4 or 5 on the road, we managed to score 4 and should've had more, we've continued our great form both at home and in 2011 and our team got another run-out to get used to each other. Individuals stepped up to the plate today, with particular praise reserved for Richie Wellens. The guy literally ran the show and was in complete control of the entire midfield area. King was energetic, Bamba was a fvcking demon (despite his ridiculously powerful backpass) and the Yak was an absolute monster. Literally scares defenders shitless and is so elusive in turning defenders inside out. Similarly, Yuki was athletic as always and as well as getting stuck in and possessing a great eye for a pass, he looks as though he also wants to start chipping in with goals. Bring it on, UKIP. Yeeee. A few other notes: the decision for their 2nd penalty looked absolutely disgraceful and I'm 99% sure their player just slipped over in the box. Horrible decision. We should've had a penalty of our own and I don't give a monkeys what the law on advantage is, it was a clear pen. If Song had missed against Chelsea after the initial foul, the pen apparently would still have been given - why was this any different? Absolute joke. Also, from where I was stood, their man deserved a yellow at best. Did not look at all like a red, but I'll stand corrected if the replays suggest otherwise.

We ripped them, rose above their racist chants. To the people that started the benefits chant. Legend, Witty, fantastic chant. We played great today, Not sure about Mee, after the first half, didnt dare taking my coat off, due to the surname on the back of my shirt. But that tackle was great. Wellens was fantastic again, as was Bamba, Lloyd and The Yak.

Bhasin supports City supposedly so obviously anything pro leicester is deemed biased and out of the question.

It's basically watching a Chris Gunter, Earnshaw, Blackstock gangbang. With a bit of Savage thrown in. We'll get enough coverage when The Yak taps scores in the 94th minute in the Playoff final.

And that, despite most games today being a bore draw and ours, which had 6 goals, 2 penalties, 2 penalty claims and a red card no doubt would've been great for a neutral. It's a joke. And why Savage gets to be a pundit on anything is beyond me. I don't hate him but I don't see the appeal. I suppose for the bbc he counts as the "edgy" and "outspoken" one..

Morons. just shown that my mrs, her pal's husband (tony) is a massive millwall fan and i was trying to explain why we / everyone hates them so much, Can honestly say tony is a sound fella but if he's knocking about with that lot i aint got no time for him, i could not and would not support a team whos fans chant this sort of stuff, it's poisonous, it actively encourages extremism and is ammunition for hate preachers. sorry ranting, bit pissed
