cc_star Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Just got back to the car Wow what an attacking performance should have been 6 or 7, we're still poor at the back though. Mee is not ready. If Hobbs doesn't get back in after that if I were him I'd hand a transfer request in
FeedtheYak Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 So is Sven manager of the month? He's certainly worthy winner. But im scared of the curse
MattyFromLE Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Just been on RL - Apparently Waggy's asked Sven if he can leave for first team football
B52 Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 I actually think you're being serious. There's no expectant thrashings in this league. Ever. It's quite unpredictable. I am because the players are too good. I didn't know Bamba was such a gem so that was a little suprise. Players like Vassell and Yak create so much space for the teammates. On top of that Dyer is speedy and confident after his goal against Man C. I haven't said a word about Wellens yet..,.. And when a team like Millwall have five players out for CB and have to grab leftovers they're up for stuffing. Only the ref stopped a 5-1 or 6-1 result. I believe you have forgotten the :sge: factor
FeedtheYak Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Just been on RL - Apparently Waggy's asked Sven if he can leave for first team football He can go when we sign Adebeyor on loan.
Jakemoore Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 You COULD say that we beat a weakened Millwall defence BUT, you can only beat whats out in front of you. A very good win today, looks like be could have Didier Zokora soon too, we're gonna be made up of big strong African players if this carries on, im not complaining, IN SVEN I TRUST
Jackirius Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Just been on RL - Apparently Waggy's asked Sven if he can leave for first team football No those were the words that Stringer put into his mouth, he didn't really mean that. How I interpreted it was that it was Waggys choice whether he wanted to go out on loan for first team football and he had left it with him.
Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Ben Mee reminds me of Ben Thatcher in every possible way...
acooling08 Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Great performance although still not tight enough defensively. We bring these long shot goals on oursleves by backing off and giving them room. The ref was a willy puller. I literally screamed ****KK OFFF in the middle of a group of 60 year olds when he first didn't give our peno, and gave them theirs.

Babylon Posted 22 January 2011 Author Posted 22 January 2011 Bamba: Played 4, scored 3 I know i know... Last time I copy and paste something from bloody talking balls again. Idiots.
Haydos Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 I literally screamed ****KK OFFF in the middle of a group of 60 year olds when he first didn't give our peno, and gave them theirs. I'd have done the same, poor refereeing makes me hate old people too! Whyioughta....

How I interpreted it was that it was Waggys choice whether he wanted to go out on loan for first team football and he had left it with him. Stringer: So Waghorn does want to leave then?' Sven: Yes, he wants to play football.
Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 6 for a fookin fiver in my shop round the corner, i've taken £20 worth, which given I had Bamba to score the last goal means they are all free. Cheers Stallion.
Finchy Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 God knows why i've still got Radio Leicester on, this is cringeworthy, Stringer has the campest laugh i've ever heard.
orangecity23 Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Now it's time for the classified results check: Derby County - tedious, Nottingham Forest - Dull. Bamba City - 4, Referees and Hooligans United - 2 All other games were postponed due to no-one caring.
Ric Flair Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 First half I thought we were very good, but made some defensive errors as per usual. 2nd half we weren't anywhere near as good until their man went off and then we were back in control again. Dyer was influential, which was imperitive with Gallagher out and he could and maybe should have scored more. Yakubu is lethal and once our players properly gel with him, then you can pretty much rely on a goal every other game or better, which could be the difference for us. Wellens was superb again, his two free-kicks for Bamba's brace were sensational and Sol doesn't miss from there. Defensively he was good today, but Mee was a nightmare. Naughton played very well, we must, must, must agree a fee with Spurs for him. We still need to strengthen. I'd love a new centre half, 2 midfielders (wide and central) and a striker to replace Waggy who looks to be off. We can always bring in a left back on loan at a later date should Berner get injured or turn crap. Faye from Stoke, Dos Santos, Michael Johnson and Heskey please. But very pleased with this win. Our home form is impressive.
Webbo Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Well that was a game with a bit of everything. Tbf to them they had some really good chances in the 2nd half as well, with a decent striker it could have been a different story. The ref was a willy puller. Oh, and I did the Poznan and I liked it.
Matt Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Played brilliant. Bamba I'm genuinely excited about the team now, but i've been confident a few times, i've seen many false dawns, the next game we'll probably lose and play bad, and it's always the same play brilliant, win well, and then you have a weeks break for some silly reason this time being the F.A Cup , usually a pointless International Friendly though. Played brilliant though, really hoping it's the start of us being brilliant, looking positive. Well done City.
Mack Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Very nice win, we are moving forward well. Yakubu is an absolute beast of a player, far too good for this league. WE NEED A NEW CENTRE HALF NOWWWWW
Webbo Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 We had today what we've lacked for the first half of the season, genuine pace and a threat from set pieces. I really can't see us losing at home again this season. I don't know whether we've left it too late for the play offs but it could be close.
Leicester_Loyal Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 Great game, not happy about Millwall fans throwing shit after they scored their first goal though, unnecessary and some stuff nearly hit young children.
