Millwall Post Match

They have 72 teams to go through in one hour, so cut them some slack.

I only watch FLS or MOTD for the football highlights - I dont give a crap about the analysis.

It's ridiculous how bad our coverage is.

I'm guessing there wasn't extended footage of us since neither penalty claim was mentioned?

And that, despite most games today being a bore draw and ours, which had 6 goals, 2 penalties, 2 penalty claims and a red card no doubt would've been great for a neutral. It's a joke.

And why Savage gets to be a pundit on anything is beyond me. I don't hate him but I don't see the appeal. I suppose for the bbc he counts as the "edgy" and "outspoken" one..

There were highlights with commentary but they didn't show anything about our penalties they just went straight to Millwall's dodgy one.

This is why we need to get to the Premiership so we're on MOTD with proper highlights, plus Football First on Sky.

I swear we share the same view on most things

It was funny. We ripped them, rose above their racist chants. To the people that started the benefits chant. Legend, Witty, fantastic chant.

We played great today, Not sure about Mee, after the first half, didnt dare taking my coat off, due to the surname on the back of my shirt.

But that tackle was great. Wellens was fantastic again, as was Bamba, Lloyd and The Yak.

How the **** is it 'witty'? The irony of a load of teenagers goading others fans about benefits is so thick its unbelievable.

anyone else see the millwall fans after the game? they are complete twats. half of them left at about 85 minutes cos they couldn't deal with their team being fooking pathetic and the ref not scoring for them. after all the racist chanting and shouting that stupid shit whatever it was, which in my opinion we were probably better at, all they could think about was 'having it large' with the police and attempting to fight with leicester fans. millwall fans are exactly how you picture them. skinheads, scarves over their faces, hackett and stone island jackets. complete and utter wankers. and has anyone else read their forum saying they're glad they're not leicester fans because apparently we are a tinpot club and because we get double their attendance every week we have 'plastic fans' when in reality we have been shite for over 10 years so plastic fans wouldn't support us. shows how fooking pathetically stupid and twattish their supporters are when they get about 8 fans every week.

sorry for the rant just hate millwall!

Go on, Have a bite. You know you want to.

It was witty, as it was a clever chant. Very quick. Whats the problem? I sometimes worry about our supporters. Whats wrong with 'goading' supporters? We sing in L/K block for Leicester majority of the game. Wherever you go mate, your going to get supporters and chants that are aimed at the away supporters.

I'm not expecting extended highlights every week, I know how the thing works. My quip is that they'll play shite matches when there is better stuff going on.

Going on previous experience, it would seem they obviously only film features for the one main match and the one with that bald gayboy so if the matches they intend to feature are wank, they'll still show it.

I don't get why they don't just play the most entertaining match. There have been no end of times where i've been bored by the main match but some of the others have seemed like they'd be good for the neutral.

edit: just wanna add that I'm loving the LUPE.

millwall chant aside What I don't get is why some people are obsessed with chants being witty.

I go to the football to have a few drinks, watch leicester and generally have a good time.

I wanna sing stuff thats good to sing, I don't wanna be part of a musical rendition of fooking mastermind.

fooking hell.... Are you as dense as you're making out? Why on earth are our supporters, many of whom will either get benefits or are too young to be paying tax to contribute to benefits, even going down that route? I'm all for a bit of banter with away fans, but 'we pay your benefits' is retarded to the nth degree. As for clever? Give me a fooking break. "Oh look, south London is a run down dump, let's make fun of how poor they all are". Nice one. I miss the days of football chants being either properly funny, not this dross.

It's just a bit of fun. Implying that they are thick and losers of some kind. That's what you do to away fans, goad them and take the piss. You don't need to take every chant literally you know.

Tbfh even tho most of London is a dump it's probably a more interesting place to live than the midlands.

lol:appl:

Couldn't agree more. they take pride in the fact they are racist, violent scumbags. A bit like Leeds TBH.

And calling us a tinpot club was just laughable.

Millwall are an embarrassment.

OK do better then. Think of a chant yourself. Go on. Or put up with the ones we've got.

Again, chants don't have to be based around facts (although the Yuki eating dogs chant is going a bit far with the inaccuracy lol ) they are just a bt of fun.

Yup, In my opinion, Football comes second to a Millwall supporter.

Should be thrown out of the league. Would rather even have Celtic or Rangers in this league than Millwall. Kicked off abit outside the Walkers, Bottles going all over the place.

Right. Answer me this, If anyone in J3/K blocks noticed. I sit 4 rows from the top of J3, and why the **** were bottles being throw from the top of J3 towards K block and the bottom of J3? Also it seemed as if, we either had half of the Baby Squad round us, or Half of the Millwall hooligans. Tartan style scarf, Burberry, Stone Island. Also a few didn't celebrate near us.

And in response.

Yes im dense.

Actually....this

I think some people expect too much from a football match. i think they're in the wrong place.

Heard on the radio that L1 were doing the poznan? Would love to have been there!

And Millwall calling us tinpot....Pfffft.

Yeh it was class

You know you've got scummy away fans at Filbert Way when they're throwing stuff at the family stand and booing the kids when they walk round at half time.

Didn't see what you're on about in J.

Dammit! I've been in plaster since Dec 17th, dying to go to a match to see it :( Videos anyone ?

I hope that thing doesn't catch on. It was a laugh against man city fans but I'd rather it didn't become the new "play a song after you score" thing at virtually every one of the 92 football league teams.

It's a bit cringy for me just doing the exact same thing they do.

Well our ST's are right near the stairs, and there were like half full bottles of drink being thrown over from the top 2 rows nearer the 'raised platformy/press gantry' thing. Happened about 3 or 4 times.

You could tell though today brought alot of the 'IM ONLY GOING BECAUSE ITS MILLWALL' fans. Which is a sad fact really. It was weird to see the amount of 'Football hooligan related items of clothing' (Yes I know it seems daft, but as i mentioned earlier) and the type of supporters based around me and my mates today.

Anyway, Could anyone based in the West Stand/Kop and Family Stand post how the Poznan looked today? Views on if it looked good? We had a right combo of celebrations going, The usual bounce, Poznan, then the Millwall thing.

I see what you mean. Would be good if it was just us doing it, but if it caught on, which it most likely will - the novelty will go.

It looked good, would be better if a few lads in the middle were doing it though, some on the outskirts weren't and then ones further down were.

I'd rather we didn't adopt the Poznan tbh, its good for now, but we should drop it now. We already have our music and our little Leicester dance :scarf::trumpet:

Now that you mention it I washed splashed with something after one of the goals. I'm in K though so I suppose it could have been someone's spit lol
