ScouseFox Posted 22 January 2011 Posted 22 January 2011 That's cobblers. Mee had a bad game, but the one thing he did well was pass the ball. It was defending that he looked bad at. There was numerous times when he tried to go long, and the ball drifted out of play/to the keeper. Pretty sure Wellens had a go at him second half for conceding possession needlessly.

Defending was worrying but going forward were very strong and the passing was sublime Hugely entertaining match

Saw the fosse boys all wearing t-shirts 'A bloke and a couple of friends, old school Kopites and all-round good eggs, who have been joining the Fosse Boys for the past few weeks. They've mainly done so in the second half, but at the Swansea game were approached by the stewards because Baz was apparently not in his allocated seat. This in spite of there being a wealth of empty seats around us as the SK1/G1 corner almost never sells out. 'Anyway, not sure what was said, but it seems he and another member of the Fosse Boys had a discussion with the steward involved and that appeared to be an end to it. However, after the game he was pulled to one side and has now been given a five game ban by the powers-that-be at Filbert Way taken from bilo's post on the FB forum.

The German guys we were with were praising the standard of refereeing today in comparison to what they're used to in the 2. Bundesliga.

It was calculated that, since new year, we need an average of 2 points per game to give us a total that will, in all probability get us into the playoffs.... So far we have 10 points from 4 games, well ahead of the curve... :bounce:

Mind you, we were sterling compared to the outdated, irrelevant, racist pricks that were the Millwall lot. Seriously, are we back in the 1970s? We were good after our goals though, gotta applaud at least some of the noise!
