Was I dreaming yesterday?

Or did the most blatant penalty shout get completely ignored by the ref yesterday only for the ball to go up the other end and a weak as aussie piss water penalty get awarded to millscum?

Sky Sports News have ignored it.

The football league show highlights completely bypassed it.

And I cant find much on here about it also.

Was I dreaming? Did I lose my voice winding ****s into the ref for nothing??

It's got to be one of the worst 2 minutes of refereeing I have witnessed.

BBC et al are out of order for not including an essential passage of play in the game in their highlights. Protecting the ref maybe?

I also think the ref may have not send off their defender had he not realized what a ricket he had made. It was a hard challenge but a yellow would have done.

I watched it on the link, it was a diobolical decision firstly Vaz was taken out, and secondly Purse i think handled it from Dyers shot, and their second penalty was a farce, down like a flash with no contact!

The ref got extremely lucky that we scored so soon after Millwall pulled it back to 3-2. It immediately placated a crowd baying for blood. He would have faced a hate mob had we not won.

Probably the worst passage of officiating I've seen for some time.

I saw it as a bad 2-footed tackle, could easily have broken a bone.

Yeah when people mentioned it at the time it sounded soft, after watching it, was obviously a high, 2 footed lunge. Definitely worthy.

It was two footed and he was off the ground with it. That was a definate red.

The ref clearly made up for it having ignored the blatant penalty which should have seen red earlier on in the game.

It was a shame because he had a fairly decent first half but his decisions in the 2nd could have cost us a win.

And yet again the media complete disregard what happened. The highlights on the tin-pot football league show even had the audacity to put Yakubu's goal down to poor goalkeeping!

Total disgrace and yet again a total disregard for LCFC and our climb up the table.

analysing referee mistakes on tv is pointless, what do we learn from it? humans make errors? sometimes they make bad errors? whinging about referees mistakes every week won't make them perform better, it will make them worse, panicking every time they make a call. forget about it and move on. yawn.

Foxes Player has 14mins of highlights just watched Vassells which was a blatant penalty clear as day keepers leg was stuck out.

they also showed Berners booking a couple of minutes before the penalties and that was shocking Berner was nowhere near Hackett when he went down, never a free kick let alone a booking! so that one can be added to the list as well

Just watched the highlights of the game on the football league app and got 15 minutes of highlights! Absolutely quality! Showed every chance and replays of everything. How the ref didn't give a pen to us when their keeps took out vassell I will never know. Watched about 3 replays of it and it's stonewall whereas their 2nd penalty was complete shit and a dive. It also showed when bruno got his yellow when in actuality he didn't touch their number 12 at all. That guy was a diving tosspot. Ben Mee's challenge on Morison gets better and better as well. So good. Also it was Ben Mee who should take some credit in the run up to our 2nd goal. Morison thought he'd got past him but Ben Mee stuck to him dispossessed him when it looked lile morison was through gave a good ball to dyer who passed it to the yak who went on and scored!

It's shown on the 15 minutes of FoxesPlayer highlights, pretty similar to the one he won against Leeds.

And the red card was a red card.

Mack - totally agree with you buddy, these things regularly go against us dont they (or is that just by bias)

You're biased.

Off the top of my head this season, the Dyer penalty at Man City was questionable and the one he won against Doncaster was extremely harsh.

But as I said on a different thread, for a five minute period the ref got everything wrong.

Dont we have our fair share of shit refs down at the City? Lets be honest its a hard enough league to get out of (in a positive promotion sort of way) without shit refs giving awful average sides like Mill "cheats" Wall have a chance in the game

Oh come on, if that had been Weale letting that shot in he'd have been roundly criticised on here.

I have to disagree with those defending the ref.

That referee within a very short space of time didn't just make one honest mistake, he made at least three.

First Vassell is scythed down, then Purse handles the ball. And not a minute later he is giving one of the softest penalties you will see.

That is actively effecting the outcome of a game through a series of horrendous decisions.

After Millwall scored that penalty they were all over us like a cheap suit for a while. Had another one gone in and it was back to 3-3 lord knows what would have happened. The game should have been dead at 4-2 long before then had the laws of the game been enforced correctly.

I think we can all forgive and forget the odd mistake, and I'm sure we all make them in our professional life now and then. But that was just plain incompetence.

And I am equally disgusted it gets completely erased by the BBC and Sky Editors.
