Jordan Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 OK, I kind of take that back because that was sort of a rude comment and I can understand why Bert wouldn't want to be the one starting threads about transfer gossip--and because that Eriksson quote could have been plucked by the Mirror from a completely different context but been made to seem like it was about a van Aanholt deal. But I still think a lot of it is silly considering that there have been many rumors of transfers, free transfers and loans lately that have actually had something going behind them but have fallen in the home stretch.

I'm sure we will have some sort of backing, bear in mind we aren't owned by the Raksriaksorns, but we are owned 80% by Asian Football Investments and 20% by Cronus something, which hints that there are others in the frame... Also i doubt only being worth £200million they would be able to invest this much money with such ease into a football club.

If Waggy goes though I would like to see someone else come in as Howard hasn't looked like making much of an impact recently
