Swansea and Nottingham Forest have also been battling to sign the Netherlands under-21 international but Leicester have offered to pay a huge proportion of his wages. So we should only have 1 left-back because Berner is sad when not picked, or should Sven try to loan/buy a player who is much worse then Berner just to make Bruno feel well ?

Oh don't get me wrong Bruno is starting to look his age, I just feel a bit sorry for him but yes we do need cover down that side, and pace!

Worth experimenting with swapping Bamba & Hobbs? it seems all our pace is on the right with Naughton & Bamba. Any opposition worth their salt would coach the team to attack our left where Berner & Hobbs are a bit less mobile

cc_star Posted 25 January 2011 Posted 25 January 2011 Will be good to have a more mobile option on the left, hopefully he's not as ineffective at corners as Cunningham was, because since Berner's come back in the team following Cunningham's injury and scored 1 & flicked on a couple for someone else to score we've looked dangerous from corners again
